Wargames Atlantic: Verstärkung durch Andy Hobday
Andy Hobday wird Creative Director bei Wargames Atlantic.
Welcoming Andy Hobday!
Wargames Atlantic Manor is abuzz with excitement as we welcome our very first Creative Director to the crew: Andy Hobday!
Andy is very well known throughout the wargames hobby world with a storied past in the industry.
With over 40 years in miniature gaming, Andy’s passion was sparked by The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, the first Fighting Fantasy book.
His career began in Games Workshop’s retail stores during its Golden Age, where he rose to the head office in Nottingham. After 15 years, he transitioned to project management and digital marketing, exploring SEO, online sales, and social media.
In 2011, Andy joined Warlord Games, where he led direct sales and IT, contributing to the company’s growth and co-creating the successful Test of Honour game.
In 2017, he realised a lifelong dream by purchasing the UK division of Footsore Miniatures, which he and his partner later expanded into Footsore Miniatures & Games. Andy’s focus shifted to game design, with notable projects including The Barons‘ War, Mortal Gods, and Gangs of Rome.
Now based in rural Lincolnshire with his family and two dogs, he continues to develop games and foster vibrant gaming communities, driven by his enduring passion for miniature gaming.
Andy joins Wargames Atlantic as our first Creative Director and member of the senior management team. He will spearhead development and management of new games (both our own original ones and partner games), shepherd Wargames Atlantic’s brand strategy, act as chief technologist for the company, and provide input on product strategy and development.
Please join us in welcoming Andy and sharing in our excitement for the significant impact he will be making on the future of Wargames Atlantic!

Spannende Kombination.
Also Mortal Gods und Gangs of Rome mag ich schon sehr. Ich mag Footsore eigentlich gerne.
Von Wargames Atlantic hab ich jetzt die Last War Box bekommen und finde sie schon wirklich cool. Ich hoffe die haben mehr so tolle Ideen.
