Rubicon Models: Weekend Teaser
Rubicon Models präsentieren einen neuen Weekend Teaser auf Facebook.
Our First Weekend Teaser for April… A single image is worth a thousand words (slightly long read) – This is the latest (and hopefully the last) version of our M3 Lee/Grant “manual” sprue layout. Once verified and approved, the project will officially move to mould-making. We understand there has been some ridicule from a few people regarding the delayed release of the M3. Please understand that placing parts logically on each sprue is essential for creating a balanced mould during the mould-making process. We also need to ensure all the parts are included to create all the necessary variants. To simplify production, we have decided to produce the M3 Lee and the M3 Grant as two separate products, we must ensure that parts are placed in their corresponding sprues, as well as on the „common“ sprues. This “manual” sprue layout process has been repeated numerous times before we can present you with this almost final version.Given the current economic situation, crazy tariffs, and increasing labour costs, we have to be very careful to keep the project under budget. This applies to all other projects that we have posted on Facebook. Making a hard plastic kit is not at the same level as making a resin or 3D-printed product. Buying more plastic kits from us will help speed up new project releases! We appreciate your understanding and support!
