February Preview + Roadmap
In February the Wood Elves hold nothing back as many of their specialist units gallop into the clearing. The Champion on Great Stag leads other mounted units like the Deer Lancers and Mounted Weavers, while the Grove Wardens use impressive skill and blade to take down creatures much larger than themselves. The Human Defense Force also gain a boost of speed with the Bikers and their leader. The Storm Troopers drop themselves in where they need to be to complete their mission. And the Light Walker’s smaller frame lets it get stuck into tighter situations but keeps the big guns of the big guys.
Please remember that these are early WIP shots of the models and not the final versions of the models.

February New Release
February frosts are no reason for the Wood Elves to let their guard down. The Grove Champion is an experienced leader, having been around for many a changing season. Leading units from the front, their heavy weapons will cleave down the enemies like broken branches. The Champion on Great Stag is both swift and deadly as the stag uses it’s nimble legs to charge in fast and his great heavy antlers to clash heads with every manner of great best or unit. The Grove Wardens are tasked with the uphill battle of fighting creatures much larger than themselves. With heavy weapons in hand, they’ll use teamwork and the weight of their attacks to pick apart even the largest of enemies. The Deer Lancers use a tandem assault of beast and rider. Using lance and antler, they charge in fast and furious. One or both having a devastating impact on their target. The Mounted Weavers are the forests mobile spell slingers. Using their majestic horned owl mounts to quickly get into range, only to barrage their enemies with poisonous blasts from their magic staves.
Rumbling in from the distance are the February Human Defense Force. The Storm Leader and Storm Troopers are experts in quick and strategic deployment. Rapidly deploying when the are called in by other units, they can turn the tide of battle with a daring rescue, capture and secure an objective, or just clean up the field to allow other units to continue with their orders. The HDF Bikers and their Leader are a light rapid assault unit. Their job is to harass the enemy with ride by maneuvers, either shooting with their pistols, or riding into the enemy head on before continuing through them. The Light Walker is a mobile weapons platform suited for work in tandem with ground level troops. Cheaper to deploy and maintain, it is more accessible to generals who need to fit more firepower into a smaller package.
In February HDF command has also cleared for use the Super Heavy Battle Tank. This giant machine of Gatling Guns, Cannons, Mortars, and Lasers is an entire arsenal on treads. Supporting troop transport as well as an array of the heaviest weapons the HDF engineers can imagine, it’s a full army onto itself, one the enemy would rather not be staring down the barrel of.
For Age of Fantasy: Quest the Change Daemon Warlock deals in pacts as he sacrifices some of himself to use dark and powerful magics. While he helps his team with support by casting his ways of change, he of course saves his best skills for himself.
For Grimdark Future: Star Quest the Robot Legions Pathfinder is a calm and collected sharpshooter. His mechanically steady hand the perfect rest for a long rifle that can take out dangerous targets from afar. When the team sneaks in, they’ll be under the watchful eye of this stoic sentry.
In February, The Desert Terrain gets it’s start with the Small Terrain. This Terrain type creates some obstacles and barriers for troops to dodge or maneuver around. They wont take up to much space, but they’re worth hiding behind when the enemy has it’s sights set on your forces.
For our 2D releases, you’ll see the Vampiric Undead – Set #5 and the Alien Hives – Set #4, plus Paper Terrain sets for both of them. The 2D models are a great way to prepare armies for games quickly!

Project Roadmap
In March the cocoons crack open and the Wood Elves Eternals get unleashed onto the the invaders of the Heartwood. The Eternal Heroes were once great elf heroes resurrected to continue their guard. The Eternal Elder is the up close and personal type, using claws and heavy weapons to engage foes, while the Eternal Spell Weaver transforms the energies of the woods into powerful magic that helps both elf and eternal alike. The Eternal Revenants are solders of the forest come back to enact vengeance on those that destroyed them. Armed with Claws, Blades or Bows they return to battle in what ever role suited them best in life. The Eternal Hunters were allowed to grow for much longer to have a larger stature and sturdier shell. Most of their weapons reflect their skill in past lives, but they may take up the scythe and embody the role of the reaper, their enemies being the chosen harvest. The Eternal Guardian is a mass of chitin and carapace, an awe to behold. Large Hammers and Glaives benefit it’s new post as protector of the forest and it’s people.
Casualties are a price to pay for the Human Defense Force, which is why in March they refresh their ranks with new Recruits. Not yet seasoned soldiers, they have simple armaments, just standard combat rifles, which they’ll learn to use in the field. While they may not be heroes now, the combat experience will turn them into proper soldiers of the HDF. The Munitioner comes bearing gifts for his units in the form of every available type of ammunition they desire, improving piercing effectiveness against heavier armored units. The Armored Truck is an efficient all terrain gun platform. Strong like a tank, but made for more urban environments it can pack quite a lot of light arms firepower into it’s frame. It’s also able to be sequestered with troop transport options for taking small squads more reliably into battle. HDF Walkers are heavily armored mobile platforms made for taking on larger threats to humanity. The Tactical Walker is equipped with an arsenal of heavy ranged firepower, taking out targets from afar while protected by it’s own mass. The Combat Walker uses it’s bulk as a weapon, employing energy weapons and close range firepower to disturb beyond enemy lines.
Also in March, A friend of the Wood Elves weavers, descends to help defend the forest. The Great Owl Chimera is a legendary beast of beauty in the woods. To be in it’s presence is both majestic and terrifying, as it’s great horns and heavy claws make it as deadly as it is divine. On large yet silent wings it’ll swoop in and stomp on it’s prey beneath large talons. It’s chimeric nature allowing it to regenerate wounds so that it can continue to assault those that dare attack it’s magnificence.
Here is the roadmap for the next few months:
- March – Wood Elves & Human Defense Force
- April – Wood Elves & Orc Marauders + New Loyalty Rewards
- May – Wood Elves & Orc Marauders
That’s it for now, happy wargaming!
