April Historical Release!

Its the end of the month again meaning its time for the upcoming previews! This month were starting with the April Historical releases, tomorrow we will be back with the fantasy models. This month’s historical Models are mounted personalities to go with the mounted kits recently released for our 100YW/medieval Range and a few upcoming kits. With that in mind they are spread out over different armour sets, gambeson/mail, and half plate. These figures will be available to download for at home 3D printing on Myminifactory on the 5th of april and will be available on the web store as well as physical kits.

This months releasing are structured a bit differently to the foot commanders and are in pairs and singles rather then 3s, the single models this month are 2 different Commander figures, the first is a mounted version of the knight in the infantry commanders kit, the 2nd has his helmet removed and is intended to function as a generic leader figure.

There is a Standard bearer bashing a enemy with the end of his banner pole, this model has Removed his helmet for greater vision seeing as hes more vulnerable not being able to fight with his sword. So hes making use of the banner instead. next is a knight charging having just skewered an enemy on the end of his Lance, for wargaming purposes this model can be built just as a regular knight, but if your game uses multibasing it would make a dynamic display, lastly there is one more mounted english archer taking a drink of water, he is like the others were, decked out in his travel kit, and would go well with a few of them in a diorama of models on the road travelling,

The next 3 kits are pairs, the first 2 are mounted Banner and hornblowers, there is a set in gambeson to go with for example the scottish hobelars and mounted archers, and another set in mail/surcoats for mounted men at arms, and the last kit my favourite are the 2 sergeants arguing over directions, the younger of the 2 convinced he’s worked out were they are, and the senior of the 2 trying to nick the map off him to check for himself,

After these in april, there’s a couple of options for historicals in may and june, i’ve outlined roughly what i see needing to be done in a FB post in the FB group, but drop a comment for any other requests, currently leaning towards some peasants or mounted men at arms

April Fantasy Release!

This is the Preview for the April Fantasy release, this month continues with the trend of Elves and a pack of orcs, all of these figures will be available as STL’s on the 5th of the month via Tribes/Patreon, the Kits this month are

The orc kit is the next kit in the orc rabble range which is quickly approaching 40 models! They are wielding a variety of weapons all in different mishmash of armour, in sharp contrast to the more uniform Elves, the Elves are in the updated Gwyrdgalas style consistent with the commanders from Last month, the spears and sword poses are all double handed, and not intended to have shields, however you can sling the shields onto a few poses until next month when the shield poses are being done,

The May release for Fantasy will begin to wrap up the elves, it will include elven cavalry and 2 more infantry kits, spearman and swordsmen both with shields this time around
