Sunday Preview – Rot and ruin
Codex: Death Guard
The inexorable smog-cloaked advance of the Death Guard is heralded by a 128-page Codex which is positively sodden with Nurgle’s munificent gifts. Within these mildewy pages you’ll find lore on the sons of Mortarion, six Detachments, and pages of miniatures photography, Combat Patrol and Crusade rules, as well as Datasheets for all your units.
To truly supplicate yourself before the altar of rot, you can acquire the Collector’s Edition, which has unique cover art, sickly green foil page edges and a black ribbon bookmark. This is only available from Warhammer.com while stocks last.
True paragons of pestilence can even opt for the luxury Limited Edition Codex. This package includes its own unique cover art, a series of five art prints, a double-sided metal medallion fragment designed to be united with three other pieces from the other Chaos Gods, six double-sided metal objective markers, a pack of 39 Stratagem cards, and 42 Datasheet cards, all contained in a special two-part slipcase. It is available from Warhammer.com while stocks last.
Poxwrought Vector Battleforce
The Lord of Poxes generates a cloud of miasma which festers enemy flesh with supernatural maladies. He leads the Poxwrought Vector, a resilient arrangement of seven Plague Marines, five Blight Lord Terminators, and three daemon engines in support – a Foetid Bloat-Drone, Myphitic Blight-Hauler, and Plagueburst Crawler. This Battleforce is the first place to acquire this new Death Guard character, and it will be available while stocks last.
Combat Patrol: Death Guard
The Maggot Lords are the Death Guard Combat Patrol, featuring a Lord of Virulence who increases the efficacy of coordinated fire, a Tallyman, three tenacious Deathshroud Terminators, seven Plague Marines and a Chaos Rhino that can convey these mouldering warriors to the frontline where they are most effective.
Death Guard Dice and Datasheet Card
Dispense disease with the help of these 44 quick reference cards which cover your primary Army Rule, Datasheets and Combat Patrol rules, and let what is inevitable happen with a roll of the conducting in Death Guard style with a set of 16 dice cast in pearlised purple, with green ink and the Death Guard faction icon on the six face.
Codex: World Eaters
Bathe the galaxy in blood with a 112-page Codex dedicated to the god of slaughter. It traces a bloody history of Khorne’s favoured Legion, while five Detachments provide multiple ways to shed blood and harvest skulls. Pages of miniatures photography display Angron’s warriors in all their gory glory, and there are Combat Patrol and Crusade rules, plus comprehensive unit Datasheets.
The Collector’s Edition of the Codex has unique cover art, red foil page edges and a black ribbon bookmark. It is only available from Warhammer.com while stocks last.

Gorestorm Slaughterpack Battleforce
An infernal fusion of Bloodthirster and World Eater, the Slaughterbound is a being of colossal strength and insatiable bloodlust. A force of nature on the battlefield, he is the speartip of the Gorestorm Slaughterpack, a battleforce with nine Eightbound (who can also be built as Exalted Eightbound), supported by a pack 20 Jakhals. It also includes a World Eaters transfer sheet featuring 200 transfers, and it will be available while stocks last.
Combat Patrol: World Eaters
The Frenzied Reavers Combat patrol is led by a Daemon Prince who commands his followers to take heads as a show of strength. A Master of Executions ensures these cuts are made cleanly, supervising a unit of 10 Khorne Berzerkers and 10 Jakhals. It also contains two World Eaters transfer sheets, featuring 200 transfers each.
World Eaters Dice and Datasheet Cards
It’s all too easy to lose your cool in the heat of battle, but this set of 35 quick reference cards cover your primary Army Rule, Datasheets, and Combat Patrol rules. Lend each and every dice roll a murderous with a set of 16 dice which are, cast in gem-effect red, with cream ink and the World Eaters faction icon on the six face.
Combat Patrol: Emperor’s Children
The Emperor’s Children prepare to strut their stuff with the Callous Blades, a coterie of close-combat killers. A pompous Lord Exultant oversees two trios of Flawless Blades who use combat as a chance to demonstrate their skills to their cruel daemonic patrons, while 10 Infractors sweep forth in a combat drug-fuelled haze to revel in slaughter. This complete Combat Patrol can be used as it is, or as reinforcements for your Warhammer 40,000 army, as the Infractors can also be built as Tormentors. It also contains an Emperor’s Children transfer sheet featuring 150 transfers.
