Step into the mind (or what’s left of it) of Black Kyudoka:

„The machine placed a foot among the rubble and steadied its stance. Its robotic senses, assisted by those of its companions, allowed it to achieve perfect vigilance. Its logical processes constantly analyzed its surroundings, endlessly calculating perfect firing solutions for all potential targets. The Operator triggered an alarm. Immediately, Kyudoka’s kinetic cells began to hum, elevating the cyborg’s aggression capacity within milliseconds. Its forearm shifted as it raised it toward the indicated direction. Carbon bolts were loaded, and a firing solution outlined. All of Black Kyudoka’s processes aligned in a perfect moment. However, the Operator did not authorize the shot. Black Kyudoka held its position, waiting for the moment of release. It wouldn’t be long; the surface-dwellers displayed an irritating tendency toward imperfect violence.“

The Marshalls fight to restore order. Cole, a former train conductor and mechanic, has watched the past fade into blood and chaos. His hands, blackened by oil and war, repair as much as they destroy.
