A Legendary Partnership: Freebooter Miniatures Joins the Fight!

Ahoy, adventurers! We’re absolutely thrilled to announce a swashbuckling new partnership with Freebooter Miniatures! The infamous pirates of Longfall have sailed into Varleira, bringing a brand-new faction into the world of Crystal Collapse.

But here’s the kicker – YOU get to decide which Freebooter characters will join the roster! Drop your favourite picks in the comments by February 16, 2025, and the most requested buccaneers will officially become a playable team.

Sharpen your swords, polish your pistols, and let’s set sail on this exciting collaboration!

Visual Enhancements & New Content: Feast Your Eyes!

We’ve been hard at work refining the Gamefound campaign page, adding crisper graphics, fresh content, and exciting new features! One of the biggest additions? The Questbook – an A5-bound guide packed with mission objectives, unique rules, and quest-specific mechanics to keep your strategies razor-sharp.

And that’s not all! Meet the first monster group in Crystal Collapse – The Goblins. These nasty little tricksters are here to shake things up and keep you on your toes in the coming months. Expect chaos. Expect mayhem. Expect… Goblins.

Stretch Goals Unlocked: Base vs. Extra – What’s the Difference?

Let’s talk Stretch Goals! We’ve divided them into three categories:

• Base Stretch Goals – These unlock universal upgrades like premium card quality, extra dice, and enhanced materials, available to ALL backers.
• Extra Stretch Goals – These include additional Hero miniatures or acrylic standees, and other premium unlocks. They will be available only for the All In pledge level. Due to the increasing production costs, they’ll unlock once we hit specific funding milestones.
• Paid Add Ons – There will be less of these, and they will include some content which expands the game. These will include monster packs and boss monsters for use with the solo mode (don’t worry, the standees will still be included in the Essentials box)!

Stay tuned as we reveal more stretch goal content along the way – we’ve got some seriously cool upgrades lined up!

Solo Mode & Monster Hunt: New Adventures Await!

For those who love to go it alone or challenge themselves in PvP battles, we have exciting news! Solo Mode and Monster Hunt Mode are in the final stages of development and are expected to be wrapped up by mid-month.

Monster Hunt Mode, inspired by the Hunting Festival in Final Fantasy IX, allows players to compete solo, in teams, or PvP to take down powerful creatures for rewards and bragging rights. Stay sharp – the hunt is about to begin!

Art to Mini – Part 2: Vice Lambert, the Legendary Virtuoso! 

Today, we’re thrilled to introduce Vice Lambert, one of the newest heroes in Crystal Collapse! As the leader of the Revolutionary Army, Vice played a crucial role in overthrowing the monarchical structure of Rosenburg. Though he and his forces fight for democracy and equality, economic realities force them to continue trade with other realms—many of which plot to bring down the newly freed nation.

Vice is an exceptional warrior, wielding two of the legendary Ultima weapons—artifacts forged by the betrayer god Ultima to sow discord among gods and mortals. His Flame Blade, Lux Arcane, engulfs enemies in fire, while his Lightning Gauntlet, Fulgur, immobilizes foes with shocking precision. A true battlefield machine!

Today, we’re excited to showcase the latest mini in progress: Liyra Faelora, the Dancer! She graced the grand halls of Rosenburg’s High Society, captivating the elite with her elegance – but beneath her graceful facade, she was a spy for the Revolution. A tactical key figure in the downfall of the nobility!
