Warcradle: Previews für Dystopian Wars und Armoured Clash
Von Warcradle kommen neue Previews für Januar.
A new year means exciting new releases, and 2025 is no exception. Kicking things off are our exciting new January releases for Armoured Clash and Dystopian Wars.
Commonwealth players can add a new nation to their Dystopian Wars fleet as the Zamiec Battlefleet Set introduces Polish-Lithuanian aerial forces to the game. Also releasing in January is the Union Long Range Squadrons, offering support to any admiral looking for a long-range game plan.
Sticking with the Union, generals looking to add more units to their army can pick up the Lakota Battlegroup Set, Union Armoured Regiment, and Union Infantry Regiment. Customise your Federated States force with a selection of these boxes of reinforcements.
These are due to be released at the end of January 2025.
Armoured Clash
The Union are a force like no other. Priding themselves on the reliability of their weapons and technology, the Union deploy simple, mass-assembled arsenals.
Expand your Union troops in January 2025 with the new Armoured Clash Battlegroup Set and Regiments Boxes.
Lakota Battlegroup Set
The aging Great Powers have had their time, stagnating and stale. After the chaos of the Ore War, the Union has been reborn in fire and poised for expansion. Manifest Destiny awaits!
This Lakota Battlegroup Set contains a Lakota Heavy Rail behemoth and a supply of infantry, ready to bombard the battlefield and decimate their enemies. This Behemoth is unique in its abilities compared to those of the Empire and the Crown, where each of its carriages has a speciality ready to be discovered and feared by the enemy.
Other units to consider for your Union army in support of the Lakota Heavy Rail are the Iron Horse Cavalry, hovering two feet above the ground, skimming over all manner of landscapes with ease and equipped with the paired Colt Repeaters and grenade launchers or flamethrowers, ready to strike as a moment’s notice as events reveal themselves. as the Blazer Heavy Cavalry, equipped with four Liberty Gatling Guns which – rather than the usual .45-70 cartridges – see their ammunition replaced with RJ-infused white phosphorus rounds.
Federal Troopers and their Fireteams can hold ground and can be transported in the Lakota, while Hotchkiss Revolving Cannons fire 57mm Fixed Quick Fire ammunition at nearly 45 rounds per minute.
The UR-31E Arc Trooper Fireteam are adept at dealing with armoured targets with unerring blasts of blue lightning the highly manoeuvrable Federal Rocket Fireteam will take down aerial threats before they have the chance to act against their platoon.
Ironhide Transports boast exceptional adaptability. Their rugged tyres can handle most terrains, while their mounted Liberty Gatling Guns offer impressive firepower and easy maintenance due to their widespread use. As an alternative, you might choose to build these as the Lamplighter Flame Trucks and turn enemy troops to ash.

Union Armoured Regiment
This Armoured Clash Armoured Regiment box allows you to add more mechanised Units to your Union force.
Rolling Thunder Main Battle Tanks are versatile heavy units that are manoeuvrable when on the offence Comment end .
UR-45 Heavy Mechs are perfect for supporting the more fragile infantry units, laying down withering fire from their gatling guns and crushing any target with their assault claws.
UR-31E Iron Eagle Cavalry are difficult to shift thanks to their armour plating and automata fearlessness. These are all supported by reliable Armstrong Heavy Artillery, firing shells capable of making holes in the toughest targets.

Union Infantry Regiment
This Armoured Clash Infantry Regiment box gives you flexible additions to your Union collection.
Federal Troopers make up the bulk of your army and are vital for holding objectives on the battlefield. They are supported by Gatling, Rocket and Arc Trooper Fireteams, each one an expert in taking down a different target; the choice is yours.
Pacifier Heavy Infantry excel in assaulting buildings and removing any stubborn occupants.
Iron Horse Cavalry are often seen closing the distance and providing the enemy with tempting targets. Units of Hotchkiss Revolving Cannon show their worth, holding their ground against incoming light targets, and mowing them down with ease.
All the while Ironhide Transports are used to ferry infantry around just where they need to go.

Dystopian Wars
Union troops expand not only on land but also at sea with the new Union Long Range Squadrons being added to the arsenal, while Commonwealth players can look forward to further air power to their Battlefleets.

Zamiec Battlefleet Set
The Zamiec Battlefleet Set is a perfect way for a Commonwealth player to add Polish-Lithuanian air power to their Dystopian Wars force.
The Zameic Skyfortress allows fighters to strike from the skies wherever the Commonwealth needs, Szpada fighters racing towards their target using speed to close range before the enemy can lock on.
Voivode Heavy Airships provide an array of rockets when needed and are excellent at destroying aerial or surface targets.
The Szlachta Swordwing Carrier has access to even more fighters because, for some commodores, there can never be enough.
The Stanislaw Assault Airship allows Commonwealth ground forces to attack, even where a surface vessel can’t access.
The Jadwiga Aerial Monitor and Smok Aerial Destroyer make up the bulk of the Polish-Lithuanian airforce and are seen in fleets of almost any size. True workhorses, they can pound any enemy into submission with enough rockets.

Union Long Range Squadrons
This Squadron Box for Dystopian Wars is perfect for reinforcing your Union fleet.
As the Union pushes ever outwards and attempts to consolidate their power across the globe, Chicago Long Range Cruisers and their sister vessels have proven vital. Their ability to operate for extended periods without resupply keeps the outer territories of the Union of Federated States safe.
Battlefleets will often be composed of multiple classes of Long Range ships, from the Philadelphia Long Range Arc Cruiser with its devastating Tesla-designed weapons, to the Nashville Long Range Support Ship with stores full of whatever might be needed for even longer patrols.
Alongside these are Akron Observation Rotors, a literal eye-in-the-sky able to spot trouble from miles away as well as Farragut Frigates for fast and manoeuvrable firepower and Puritan Submarine Automata, hiding beneath the surface until the perfect time to strike.

Mein Gott Armoured Clash sieht schon echt geil aus. Hat es schon jemand getestet? Jerome zum Beispiel? 😉
Nope!
Bin kein Fan von den warcradle Regeln, wwx hat sich immer komisch gespielt, und DW hat bei uns nicht richtig gezündet, was zum Teil auch daran lag das gefühlt alle 3 Monate eine orbat Neuerung oder Grundregeln geupdatet wurden, und man sich die ganzen pdfs wieder durchackern musste, eine App wäre da wirklich komfortabel.
Warcradle hat mit die besten plastikbausätze die ich im hobby gesehen hab nur sind die Regeln nie so geil.
Amored clash wird (leider) ignoriert ich freue mich eher auf warpath.
Ja warpath wird sicher cool. Aber trotz allem, muss ich sagen, dass ich schon Bock auf AC habe. Muss mir wohl mal den Starter holen.

Schreibe ich dir gerne. Legions Imperialis konnte mich leider nicht halten. Bei AC sehe ich aber schon jetzt die größere Vielfalt bei den ganzen Fraktionen.
Der Zug ist mir ja irgendwie zu drüber und die Trucks finde ich unproportional, aber der Rest der Union ist ziemlich cool.
Das Zameic Skyfortress weiß auch zu gefallen, aber wenn es die Idee schon mehrfach gab.
Wenn Warcradle mal endlich ihre Sparten Scenics range wiederbeleben würde.. das waren tolle Bausätze.
Die hatten für Firestorm Armada am Ende echt ein paar nette Designs. Bin leider zu selten auf Flohmärkten um ein paar davon für Void Admiral oder so zu ergattern.
Das sind wieder einmal richtig gute Releases. Die Union Bodentruppen für Armoured Clash gefallen mir richtig gut. Und auch der Hover-Land-Train als deren Landschiff ist richtig cool geworden.
Auch die Polen als Subfraktion des Commonwealth für Dystopian Wars gefallen mir ziemlich gut. Einzig Warcradles aktueller Fimmel, den meisten Lufteinheiten viele kleine Geschütze statt eines großen zu geben, gefällt mir nicht so. Aber dennoch eine gute Anlehnung an die alten Spartan Games Modelle.
Meanwhile haben sie WWX aktiv gekillt durch null Support.😭
