Micro Art haben ihr WTC-Gelände aktualisiert und neue Bundles veröffentlicht.

Competitive play
Ever since we released the PREPAINTED Imperial Terrain there were voices that it’s „good, but…“
It appears competitive players put great emphasis on which way the L of the walls is facing and how many milimeters there are between a Footprint edge and the wall… And we did not pay enough attention at the start.
We have now purged this heresy! We have updated all our Imperial terrain: High Wall, Low Wall, Containers and Footprints to be up to WTC specs!
List of changes:
1. The L shaped floors are now |_ shaped for High Walls and _| shaped for Low Walls. The floors are also 0,5″ longer where they were too short, clearly a sign of corruption, now expunged.
2. The Containers are now full 5″ long and 3mm wider, they also lock in place vertically, as the Emperor wanted.
3. The Footprints have locking points for walls exactly 22mm from the edge, or 10110 as Techpriests requested.
4. There were „artistically“ damaged wall edges that were protruding beyond the prescribed 9″. They have been purged.
5. There are now more window inserts – enough to completely block the lower floor of the Low Walls within bundles, to not see the heresy.Light, Medium, Heavy…
The Light, Medium and Heavy bundle follow the WTC guidelines on how many of the High to Low walls are included:
- Light bundle: 2 High + 8 Low Walls
- Medium bundle: 4 High + 6 Low Walls
- Heavy bundle: 6 High + 4 Low Walls.
With all bundles included are the 4 Containers and 10 Footprints (12 actually).

The Imperial Containers PREPAINTED set consists of 2 containers, dedicated for Warhammer 40000 and/or other sci-fi gaming systems.

The parts of the model are designed to slot together in a way that enables a quick and easy assembly. It may be necessary to glue some parts of the model – use PVA (white) glue. Every model is cut from one or more panels of HDF (high-density fiberboard) of 3mm and/or 1,5mm thickness.Attention: Before taking the elements out make sure they are fully cut. There are minor connections that prevent them from falling out. Parts are secured with a layer of protection paper, please remove it before assembly.

Das WTC Gelände wird nicht interessanter wenn es Fototapette hat.
Schlechtes Gelände für langweilige Tische bleibt es trotzdem
Langweiliges Gelände viel Geld und einer Szene welches jeden Spass aus dem Spiel saugt.
Zumindest was dieses Standard-Tunier-Gelände angeht, so hält es mich erfolgreich ab mit 40k wieder anzufangen. Es ist grausig und gefühlt jeder will damit spielen. Auf Turnieren kann ichs ja verstehen, aber zu einem Casualgame? :-/
Viel zu teuer für ein paar bedruckte MDF Platten.
Habe von anderen Marken 2 bedruckte MdF Gebäude.
Von diesen hier weiss ich es nicht, jene sind aber definitiv mit der Heizpresse bedruckt.
Wenn dies hier also in kleiner Manufaktur händisch erstellt wird und im Anschluss gelasert…
Würde auch nicht auf die Idee kommen das billiger zu verkaufen.
Es ist auch eher ein Luxus Artikel für Leute die schnell ein paar Turniertische vollmachen wollen.
Da gehe ich sehr sehr stark von aus dass die irgendwas in Richtung kaufe 12 bezahl 10 anbieten.
Aber wozu.
Das besch*ssene WTC Format kannman auch mit billigst Gelände erfüllen da zahlt man dann so 30€ pro Tisch und nicht wie hier bis zu 290 pro Tisch.
Das sieht genauso uninteressant aus und spielt sich genauso langweilig. Ist dafür aber schön billig.
Aber die die 40k auf turnieren spielen wollen das wohl so.
Und MAS ist kein kleiner Hersteller mehr (im Hobby Nischen vergleich)
Man kann ja aus MDF deutlich mehr machen. Wenn das aber gar nicht gewünscht ist, sondern nur so ganz einfache plane Mauern und Wände, dann müsste doch Pappe hier genauso gut gehen aber deutlich günstiger sein. Das ganze Set in Pappe wäre kaum ein Unterschied, ausser in der Haltbarkeit. Könnte GW sogar nem Starter beilegen oder Teile der Umverpackung in eine Doppelnutzung überführen, analog Infinity.
GW „könnte“ viel aber wollen schlichtweg nicht.
Da wurde vieles von ehemaligen GW Mitarbeitern in Interviews preis gegeben.
Wet Palett? damit verkaufen wir ja weitaus weniger Farben, unerwünscht.
Spezialartikel in super geringen Margen wie etwa bestimmte „technical paints“ oder Farbsprays: Sollen das ruhig andere machen.
Bei Gelände immer wieder schön zu merken:
Ist dir mal aufgefallen dass die ranges immer Stückchenweise erscheinen? Gnarlwood etwa für AoS.
Hab das hier bei mir, ist wirklich fantastisches Fantasygelände.
Problem:
Ich muss immer direkt gleich kaufen wenn etwas raus kommt. Während dem kompletten Release Zyklus sind die „alten“ ersten Sets ja bereits raus geflogen.
Da geht es auch viel um Lagerplatz. GW bringt ja praktisch wöchentlich neuen Scheiss. Das Sortiment kann ja nicht unendlich wachsen, altes Gelände raus zu schmeissen macht da schlichtweg Sinn.
Günstiges Papercraft Gelände, etwa wie aus der dicken Pappe für Brettspiele:
Ist einfach nicht in derem Interesse. Ähnlicher Produktionsaufwand wie etwa das HdR Plastikgelände. Letzteres bringt aber einfach mehr Kohle. Das kannst erstens für sich genommen bereits teurer verkaufen, zieht aber noch Käufe von Bastelmaterialien und Farben nach sich.
Youtuber die das Zeug verwursten machen dazu ja eigentlich auch noch Gratiswerbung.
WTC ist keine Sache von GW
Die Preiskritik hier ist ja oft bissel alber, aber in dem Fall muss ich zustimmen. Diese Sets wie oben geschrieben in Pappe hätte es auch getan und sähe optisch quasi identisch aus.
Alternativ bekommt man auch für weniger Geld 3D gedrucktes WTC Gelände bei Etsy. Muss man halt noch bemalen, sieht aber garantier tausend mal gescheiter aus.
