Mantic Games: Neues Halo-Spiel

Mantic Games haben für den September ein neues Miniaturenspiel im Halo-Universum.

Today, UK-based tabletop studio Mantic Games announces a partnership with 343 Industries to launch a brand-new Halo miniatures combat game.

Launching directly to retail in September 2024, Halo fans can eagerly look forward to amazing new 40mm Spartan miniatures that bring Halo multiplayer battles to life in an expertly crafted team combat game experience for tabletop newcomers and veterans alike.

“We are thrilled to team up with Mantic Games to bring a new Halo tabletop game to fans in 2024”, said John Friend, Head of Halo and Xbox Consumer Products. “Mantic is a leader in tabletop gaming, and their quality and experience show through in all their work. I’m most excited in this case about their passion for the Halo franchise and for bringing Halo gameplay to tabletop gaming in an incredibly authentic way.”

Mantic Games and 343 Industries will be pulling back the curtain soon on this exciting new addition to the Halo universe. Halo and miniature gaming fans around the world can expect their first preview of the new game in March 2024.

  • Ich weiß nicht wie ich das finde…

    Zum einen finde ich halo nicht sonderlich interessant als TT und die Marke ist auch nicht mehr das was sie mal war, und zum anderen fände ich das besser wenn mantic Ressourcen für ihre bestehenden Systeme nutzt.

    ….und natürlich hat halo damals spartan games das Genick gebrochen;)

    • Ja, Halo ist sicher nicht das aktuellste, wobei Ronnie auch mal meinte das Lizenzverhandlungen über Jahre gehen weil die andere Seite keinen Stress dabei hat

      Wobei ordentliche Spartan Modelle im 40k Maßstab schon ihren flair haben

      Vom Spiel her wird es sicher gut, das kann Mantic ja, ob das reicht wird man sehen

      • Ja da gebe ich dir recht, mantic kann regeln.

        Ich glaube auch das wird ein solides bis gutes Spiel, ich persönlich finde das erstmal nicht interessant.

        Warpath ist da absolut eher meins.

      • Regeln hui, minis pfui. Ja ich weiß, nicht immer, kommt auch auf den persönlichen geschmack an.

    • Das war jetzt auch mein erster Gedanke. Wünschen wir Mantic mehr Glück als Spartan Games. Wobei ich Halo-Fleet-Battle eigentlich nicht schlecht fand.

    • Ich denke, Mantic Games brauchen definitiv wieder eine starke (Lizenz-)Marke, gerade mit TWD konnten sie sehr überzeugen…

      Ob Halo hier ausreicht, kommt halt auf die Umsetzung an und wie es die Kunden annehmen…

  • Hm, ich weiß nicht, ob Mantic sich mit der Halo Lizenz einen Gefallen getan hat. So zugkräftig ist die jetzt nicht mehr. Ich hätte die Ressourcen lieber woanders hingesteckt.

  • Hmm, 40 mm team game angelehnt and den Multiplayer der Spiele klingt nicht verkehrt. Könnt mir vorstellen, dass sie sich da etwas von Shatterpoint inspieren lassen. Definitiv wert weiter zu beobachten.

  • Ich hoffe mal,dass es auch die Allianz Völker als Miniaturen geben wird und das diese gut aissehen. Das wären dann mal nette Malprojekte.
