Home Raiders: Teaser
TTCombat bringen in ihrem Adventskalender einen neuen Teaser für die Rückkehr von Home Raiders.
Have you ever heard an unexplained bump in the night? Or perhaps you’ve walked into a room looking for a particular item you KNOW is in there but suddenly it’s gone? Well, we’re thrilled to say you’re not going insane, you just have an infestation of Home Raiders.
This will be a unique game in a similar fashion to the original. You’ll set up a game with an opponent by agreeing upon the size of playing space as Home Raiders isn’t restricted to a tabletop! You could play the whole game across your entire house if your ambitious enough. You’ll then pick a mission and layout terrain which is a BIG aspect of the game. Instead of conventional terrain you’d expect to see on a boring tabletop, Home Raiders takes advantage of your existing belongings. To these mystical intruders, your old tabletop is a WAR TORN BATTLEFIELD OF UNSPEAKABLE ATROCITIES! How fun…
At this point we should outline some of these adorable warriors.
NEW LILLIPUT
New Lilliput was the first society to contact humanity. Lilliputians have a much shorter life span than us humans, however as if by magic, they’re able to achieve far more than we are in a single life. Through the use of their superior technology, they created portals to traverse parallel dimensions including our own. Yet, our world was not the first the Lilliputians discovered, with multiple others being hostile. Perhaps it was remorse or some unknown greedy intentions which now drives New Lilliput to police the portals in a military fashion.
As our world is now at threat of invasion due to Lilliputian actions, we see rather a lot of them protecting us now. Well, they call it protecting but we’re not so sure. Flying all over the place are the Jetpack Troopers which make for a marvellous looking sight but can be quite annoying. The amount of times we’ve inhaled their pack’s noxious fumes is ridiculous. From observing them in combat against the Scraplings, they appear to act as a reconnaissance force or as a flanking vanguard.
Scraplings
Quite possibly the most egregious creatures humanity has come across thanks to the Lilliputian’s portals are the Scraplings. Long pointed ears, wicked smiles and teeth as sharp as daggers, these gremlin like creatures have so welcomingly adopted the nickname Scraplings. For reasons unknown to us, they are obsessed with taking apart electronic devices and quite frankly stealing anything shiny which isn’t nailed down. Capable of advanced speech and powerful emotions, Scraplings have a profound love of our languages ‘naughty words’ which we couldn’t possibly write here. Well we can’t write all of them down but the following list should give you a solid idea to work with:
- Bottom
- Fart
- Boggy
- Nitwit
- Nincompoop
- Pleb
Honestly these little blighters really are the most foul thing to come from the Portals we’ve ever seen. Yet, besides their love of all things electronic, we’ve found they have a rather large sweet tooth! Just look at the above sketch depicting the hideous Jawbreaker! With an intelligence far bellow that of the other Scraplings we’ve encountered, the Jawbreaker does have one shining quality… it’s hulking strength. When it comes to battle, he rushes in swinging that giant (for them) lollipop around like a twin handled club. Honestly we’d stay well clear of this brute when he gets riled up. During one such fit of rage, a Jawbreaker brought his tooth decaying weapon down on our big toe! The pain was so bad, it reminded us of the time we stubbed it on the dinning room table.

Was haltet ihr vom Relaunch?
