Die Blood Angels bekommen ein neues Armeeset und in diesem Zuge wurden auch bekannte Charaktermodelle für die 10. Edition von Warhammer 40.000 neu aufgelegt
Embrace the Red Thirst in a New Blood Angels Codex and Army Set
Few Space Marine Chapters are held in such high regard as the Blood Angels. The Sons of Sanguinius have such an unorthodox Chapter cult and order of battle – involving distinctive formations, unusual tactics, and mighty heroes – that they require their own Codex to accompany their unique miniatures.
But it wouldn’t do just to drop Codex Supplement: Blood Angels and walk off into the radioactive Baal sunset. There’s a new Army Set on the horizon, and it’s angrier than usual.
If you’re wondering where all the red is, don’t worry – there’ll be lots of red in due course (and perhaps a little gold). But these Adeptus Astartes have well and truly fallen to the curse of the Black Rage, noble and disciplined Space Marines become raging berserkers consigned to the Death Company.
The Black Rage has plagued the Chapter’s gene-seed since the Horus Heresy, shredding their minds and forcing them to relive the dying moments of their beloved Primarch over and again, lashing out at the enemy in unquenchable fury. Few have ever managed to hold this madness in check, but one such hero returns to lead the Death Company with a brand new miniature – Chaplain Lemartes, the Guardian of the Lost.
Lemartes himself is still in the grip of the madness, but through sheer indomitable willpower he maintains his faculties and manages to lead his fallen brothers on the charge. He’s a ferocious force of nature in battle, and his new miniature captures a positively feral pose atop a shattered stairway.
Speaking of Chaplains – Astorath, High Chaplain of the Blood Angels, has not been sitting idly by. As the Redeemer of the Lost, it is his grim duty to grant the Emperor’s Peace to those battle brothers who have fallen too far, and for whom an honourable death in battle is no longer possible. He joins Lemartes in the new army set to dispense exactly this kind of mercy.
Astorath’s new miniature retains his classic pose, leaping through the air with the help of an ornate winged jump pack, The Executioner’s Axe gripped in both hands. The golden details and intricate musculature on his armour are picked out even more closely than before, while staying true to the original miniature.
The rest of the set comprises 20 Death Company Intercessors – 10 with jump packs, and 10 without – who can be customised extensively with four sets of brand new Blood Angels upgrades and transfers.
These upgrades feature a wealth of cosmetic elements, including blood drop accessories, sculpted pauldrons, and noble Baalite visages, as well as signature items of wargear suited to the savage Sons of Sanguinius, such as inferno pistols and eviscerators.
Rounding things out, a Brutalis Dreadnought is the perfect armoured support for this army of blood-crazed hellions – with a Death Company badge provided in the new upgrade sprues. The new Codex Supplement is included in the box, and provides rules for fielding Death Company Dreadnoughts, in case they aren’t ripping and tearing quite enough already.
The brand new Codex Supplement: Blood Angels will be available in this box first, featuring an exclusive cover, and you’ll also get a set of datacards covering all 18 datasheets in the book. Alongside the new and updated units, there are Detachments expanding on the options found in Codex: Space Marines.
This does also mean that the regular Codex supplement is on its way, for those of a more stable mind who haven’t yet succumbed to madness.

Hoffentlich sind genügend Helme für alle Modelle im Set, die Gesichter sehen ja grausam aus. Die Glatzköpfe erinnern mich an die Ferengi
Sehe ich genau andersrum. Finde die Gesichter 1000x besser als die 0815 Helme.

Ohne witz,ich halte es nicht für gänzlich unwahrscheinlich das ich hier schwach werden könnte…
Abhängig davon ob der Preis nicht absolut lächerlich, unsinnig und bekloppt teuer wird für diese Box, hätte ich schon hart Bock auf blood angels.

Ich hab mich naiv wie ich bin an die einsatzverband Boxen orientiert +codex&index ca 280€.
Zumal sind das „nur“ rund 700 pkt…
Ach man GW macht es mir auch echt schwer.
Da glaube ich nix von. Würde die Box bei maximal 180 UVP sehen und dann gehen da noch Rabatte runter. Mal ernsthaft, hat GW schonmal ein Armeeset für fast 400,- verkauft?! Das glaubst du doch selber nicht.
Die Box wird einen UVP von vielleicht 170 Euro haben, eventuell auch 180 Euro. Definitiv unter 200.
Was gibt es daran zu glauben? Hab es doch aufgeschlüsselt, das ist da nunmal drin. Keiner sagt die Box würde 400€ kosten.
Aber nein, sie wird wohl kaum billiger als die DA Box mit viel weniger Inhalt. 😀
Lag nicht die Battle Company Box von 2007 bei 400 Euro? Kann mich aber auch irren.

Ne, ist schon verständlich, Blood Angels sind schon cool. Auch wenn ich sie 10.000 Jahre früher spiele.

Die Deatheing Box hat 175,- UVP gekostet und bestand aus 15 Termis und einem HQ. Denke nicht das die BA Box deutlich mehr kostet mit normalen intercessors.
Jedenfalls kann Jerome sie kaufen. In seinem 280,- Budget sind die definitiv drin 😁
Ja für 280€ wird er sich fast zwei Boxen kaufen können. 😀
Bei der DA Box war Plastik für 256€ + Print, also über 100€ Unterschied
Und bei der neuen Ritter Box sind es 320€ Plastik für 240€ das ist näher an der BA Box.
Daher würden mich 240€ nicht wirklich schocken. Ich denke aber das es einfach einen krassen Rabatt geben wird und das Ding 200-220 kosten wird. Ich drücke die Daumen, das es weniger wird, aber ich glaube es wird teuer.
Ja mal gucken.
So komplett überzeugt mich das nicht, ich hätte zwar Bock auf BA, die klassischen GW Red flags sind aber immer noch zu krass.

Ich mag Lemartes, auch wenn er auf den Bildern etwas unvorteilhaft wirkt. Der Rest sind halt Standard-Primaris die für mich auch mit dem Zusatzgussrahmen so viel Charme wie Fußpilz verströmen (ich kann mit den Minis einfach nichts anfangen).
Astorath wirkt auf den Bildern extrem hölzern, aber da mus ich mal auf andere Bilder warten.
Also der neue Astaroth ist genial und der nunmehr dritte Lemartes total anders als das zweite Modell – dieses ist imo aber nicht wirklich schlechter als die neue Mini.
Der Rest sind leider nur die bereits bekannten Gussrahmen mit 4 Blood Angels Upgradegussrahmen. Nicht schlecht, aber ich hätte mir doch einen echten, neuen Blood Angels Bausatz gewünscht – zumal die Upgradeteile nicht einmal speziell für die Todeskompanie enthält. Die Box wird hier komplett durch die Bemalung realisiert – denn im Grunde hätte man die ohne Probleme auch als normale Blood Angels anmalen können.
Dennoch werde ich die Box mal beobachten – ich könnte mir schon vorstellen, dass die schnell weggeht, denn es gibt schon recht viele Blood Angels Fans da draußen.
Wie kommt ihr denn auf 4 Zusatzgussrahmen?
Werbetext von GW und die Tatsache, dass 20 normale Schulterpanzer verbaut sind und nur 5 davon in einem Rahmen sind.
Astorath ist cool, schöne Überarbeitung des alten Modells. Lemartes ist an sich cool, allerdings finde ich diese „Buh“ Pose etwas seltsam (lehnt sich aber wohl an ein altes Artwork an. Der Rest sind ja bekannte Miniaturen mit Bits.
Wollt schon immer ne Death Company der Blood Angels machen aber des sind so generische Dosen geworden…
Gefühlt sieht man als aussenstehender nur Dosen. Schöne Dosen, aber halt Primär Dosen.
Cool wenn man damit spass hat, aber mich holts nicht mehr ab.
