All respectable members of their neighbourhood, while the sun shines at least. Public positions are often ripe for exploitation. A little boost of earnings or a more sinister motive can drive even the most honest servant to corruption.
Cephas Antonius is an employee of a local magistrate. He is a corrupt individual who uses his knowledge and access to information to exploit the local populace. He is also a skilled poisoner, which makes him a dangerous enemy.
A centurion in the Vigiles, the night watch of ancient Rome. Christophos was a skilled and dedicated officer who quickly rose through the ranks. During an investigation into a prominent senator and his accomplices for corruption, he uncovered evidence
indicating involvement in various criminal activities, including bribery, extortion, and murder. The senator was powerful and well-connected, resulting in Christophos being arrested and imprisoned for five years. During his time in prison, Christophos vowed to get revenge on those who had wronged him. He knew he couldn’t take on the senator and his accomplices alone, so he turned to the underworld for help, using his connections and information to build a network of criminals and underworld figures. Now free, he is determined to see his revenge carried out.Hailing from beyond the northern borders and no one caring to remember his true name, this rogue is known simply by the nickname, ‚Venator‘. An unassuming character, Venator is the teacher of many of the less fortunate children of the insulae, showing them every skill they need to be good Roman citizens – and more than a few that they don’t.
These three target the rich and prosperous members of society in a bid to distribute their wealth more evenly among the less fortunate souls of the insulae.
Die „Vipera of the Insula“ gibt es für 6,95€
One evening, a Roman housewife named Livia was alerted to the unmistakable sound of footsteps hurrying across her roof. With a heart full of resolve, she grabbed a sturdy broom and made her way to the courtyard. Peering up, she spotted a shadowy figure—a gang member attempting to sneak into her home. Livia raised her voice without hesitation, her words cutting through the air like a blade. „Get down from there, thief, before I come up and drag you down myself!“
The gang member, startled by the fierce determination in Livia’s voice, was taken aback. He had expected an easy target, not a formidable opponent. Livia’s eyes blazed with anger as she continued, „Do you think you can terrorise honest citizens and get away with it? Not in my house!“ Her commanding presence and unwavering stance left the intruder no choice but to retreat. He scrambled off the roof and disappeared into the shadows.
Livia stood her ground and received a new nickname among the local gang members – Vipera, the Viper!
All miniatures are white metal and are supplied with the required MDF base for Gangs of Rome. May require assembly.
Rules: Vipera always starts the game at ground level, in base contact with a building. This building is not just any building, it’s her home. Her connection to this place is obvious, influencing her actions throughout the game.
Vipera may not move more than 6″ away from her home, do not place an extra mob token in the draw when included.
If a Gang Fighter ends its activation within 6″ of Vipera’s home and they are in Line of Sight, Vipera will point them out and shout obscenities at them. The Gang Fighter may not blend next turn, and the Vigile Disturbance Timer is reduced by one. If the Gang Fighter is not in Line of Sight, Vipera will move up to 6″ to gain Line of Sight.
If a Gang Fighter ends its activation in base contact with Vipera’s home (including being on or in it) and they are in Line of Sight, Vipera will shout obscenities and throw a stone at them. She makes a single Ranged Attack against the Gang Fighter with an Attack of 4. When the Ranged attack has been resolved, reduce the Vigile Disturbance Timer by 2. If the Gang Fighter is not in Line of Sight, Vipera will move up to 6″ to gain Line of Sight.
Die Agilitas kostet 6,95€, ist aber aktuell auch als Aktionsfigur erhältlich

Most acrobats are former gymnasts or athletes, and their skills are highly valued by gangs.

Hat jemand Infos zur deutschen Version?
Wann wird die erscheinen?
Hi,
