Chapter I: gathering the clans!
Welcome everybody to the first chapter of this journey and the absolute debut of Ranks&Files!
If you know me already, you would know for sure how crazily obsessed I am with Dwarfs, so the first kit of this range could only focus on the Clan Warriors, sturdy and seasoned soldiers ready to defend their stronghold from any enemy. As you can see, the design style of these sculptures is very traditional, perfectly compatible both in size, proportions and overall aesthetics with the historical ranges of the main fantasy wargames. In this first incarnation, the Clan Warriors kit already has a wide variety of assembly alternatives to choose from, not only with the possibility of assembling them with large axes or with shields and hand weapons but also with numerous aesthetic variants available. The 6 variants of heads are provided in two versions: facing right and left, so that you can position them as you like without the volumes of the beard (specifically modified from one version to another) hindering assembly with the various weapon configurations. The unit champion is a separate sculpture, a true minor character that would not be out of place at all as a Thane! I put a lot of effort and passion into designing this first kit!
This kit is designed to not only be compatible with the upcoming kits I will design but will be complemented by future upgrade kits that will provide you with new aesthetic alternatives such as optional heads, new banner icons, new weapons, and shields. The idea is to create a range so rich in assembly options that you can truly tailor your army to your tastes, as if it were a bespoke suit!

Die sehen richtig klasse aus. Leider habe ich keinen Drucker.
Wird man die auch ausgedruckt kaufen können?
Es gibt normalerweise Druckservices, an die man sich mit solchen Daten wenden kann, und die dann den Druck übernehmen. Ist natürlich ein zusätzlicher Schritt. Alternativ gibt es für viele STL-Anbieter auch Services, die die Drucklizenz haben und die Daten dann direkt in ihrem Shop als Drucke anbieten.
Auf seiner Webseite nennt er die Range digital managed und macht keine Aussage dazu das er plant diese Entwürfe als physisches Produkt an zu bieten.
Bei Patreon gibt es aber ein Merc level so das davon aus zu gehen ist das in naher Zukunft gewerbliche Anbieter geben wird. Zusätzlich zu denen die ohne Merc level gewerblich anbieten.
Wenn du individueller möchtest evtl auch skaliert oder in bestimmten Zusammenstellungen wäre es aber sinnvoll wenn du dir einen Drucker deines Vertrauens suchst der dir da den entsprechenden Service bieten kann.
Woher soll das hier irgendwer wissen?
Er selbst wird sich wohl kaum die Mühe machen, aber es gibt mitunter (offiziel berechtigte) Verkäufer auf einschlägigen Plattformen.
Ich möchte eigentlich auch eine Zwergenarmee mein eigen nennen, aber ich denke, dass hier kommt für mich zu spät und ich werde bei einem der diversen anderen Anbieter Files holen, die schon eine „fertige“ Armee erstellt haben.
Nun man könnte in den Blog von Durgin Paint Forge schauen wo er die Reihe angekündigt hat und überprüfen ob er sich da zu geäussert hat.
