Black Sun Studios sind aktuell mit Goblins, basierend auf Arbeiten von Adrian Smith, auf Kickstarter unterwegs.
Art of Adrian Smith: Goblins
The primary collection of exquisite miniatures devoted to the art of Adrian Smith.
Black Sun Studios are proud to present a project years in the making. Working with Adrian Smith and a select team of world class sculptors and painters, we now offer the first sets, in what will be a growing collection, of exquisite limited edition collector’s miniatures devoted to the art of Adrian Smith.
Goblins! From the wonderfully unique goblins that Adrian has summoned to paper, we have, in turn, transformed from two dimensions into three. We have endeavoured to honour the brush strokes, and pencil marks, and create miniature scenes that will allow the collector and painter to connect with the original art, and enjoy even more deeply the worlds‘ Adrian Smith creates.
The first three collector’s sets presented in this project are ‚Pumpkins‘, ‚Sentries‘ & ‚Roots‘. The models will be strictly limited in production. After the campaign only a limited number will ever be produced. Each set comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
The pledges on offer allow for each set to be chosen individually, or pledged for as a collection. The Collection also includes a pledge exclusive set of signed prints. Beginning with this series we hope to introduce a new range of unique collectors miniatures devoted to the worlds of Adrian Smith.
The miniatures in this range are 1/24 (75mm) scale, but as all goblins vary in size, some are taller than others – they all have a place in this world, no matter how tall or short. See our Size section for the height of each set.
If you are new to KS why not see our *New to KS* and *Mini Jargon Buster* sections near the end of this campaign page.
Pledges:
*Item designs may be subject to small changes. All models are supplied unpainted and require assembly. Pumpkins supplied with 1 scenic base, Sentries with 1 collective scenic base, and 3 individual character bases, Roots supplied with Scenic tree roots.*
The Artist Adrian Smith
Adrian Smith is a British, self-taught, concept artist and illustrator, who is perhaps one of the most prolific and influential fantasy artists of our time. With a career spanning over three decades, he has undoubtedly left an indelible mark on the tabletop gaming industry. His iconic artworks have helped to shape the worlds of Games Workshop, and his latest collaborations with CMON have brought his unique style to a new generation of gamers, including a board game inspired by his own graphic novel series Chronicles of Hate. In addition to his work in the tabletop industry, Adrian has also illustrated comic books, graphic novels, and video games. His work has been published countless times, and there are several books dedicated to his art.
Adrian is often found accompanied by Goblin, his Chihuahua, who regularly features in social media posts (frequently stealing the spotlight) alongside illustrations of characters Adrian has created. Goblins to Giants, Gnomes to Great Champions, his art continues to inspire artists, gamers, and Chihuahuas alike.
“I have admired Adrian’s work long before I even knew who Adrian Smith was. I’d spend hours on end as a young teenager getting lost in the finely rendered pencil drawings buried in the pages of various Games Workshop publications. His unique style stood out, fuelling my imagination and my own creativity. Adrian’s art had a profound impact on me. I’ve continuously followed his work ever since those early years. I have a deep appreciation for the art of Adrian Smith. This reason, among many others, makes this collaboration a dream come true!“ – Carlos J Vazquez, Black Sun Studios

We have aimed to provide some estimations around shipping costs for backers.
Please note: All shipping costs will be confirmed and charged after the Kickstarter Campaign through the Pledge Manager.
A few key points:
Shipping won’t be charged until the pledge manager, prices provided below are estimated and give an idea of the expected shipping costs. We aim to deliver everything as quickly and carefully as we can, and therefore plan to use efficient and localised services wherever this is practical.
FRIENDLY SHIPPING: All shipping to EU and UK will be done locally, so there will be no additional import fees to be paid on receipt of the parcels in these locations. If there are enough backers from other specific regions, we may be able to extend this offering of local shipping for other specific regions too. We will keep backers updated on this.
There are a number of areas we are unable to ship rewards to: Unfortunately, we are not able to ship to the following countries and regions (any pledge to these countries will be cancelled and refunded minus any Kickstarter payment processing costs). Before backing, if you are not sure, we encourage you to contact us first to check if we are able to ship to your location and to confirm an estimated cost. Please do not back this campaign if you are hoping to get the project rewards delivered to any of the following areas. The areas/countries or regions we are unable to ship rewards to include: Russia, Ukraine, South America, Africa (excluding South Africa), Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, Syria, North Korea, and all PO Boxes. Other countries may also be affected by shipping restrictions. Please contact us if you have any concerns.

Vielleicht. Wäre eine coole herausforderung anständig anzumalen…
aber geil…verdammt
