Welcome to the world of Ultracryl – the brand new acrylic paint series for miniature painters and modelers that breaks new ground! Because we at Ten01 labs have spent the past 4 years developing the perfect hobby paints. Ultracryl therefore stands for:

• Ultra pigmentation
• Ultra saturation
• Ultra opacity
• Ultra matte
• Ultra flow

Every single Ultracryl paint was developed in our in-house lab, extensively tested by us and various miniature painters, and then improved until its maximum quality was achieved. Now the time has come to introduce our Ultracryl paint series to the whole world – and thus also to you – and to realize the production via this Kickstarter campaign.

All Ultracryl paints are highly pigmented, offer excellent luminosity and opacity. They dry extremely matte, making them the perfect choice for any tabletop, modeling, or miniatures painter. Each Ultracryl paint also comes ready-to-use from the bottle and does not need to be thinned. And thanks to the new 20 ml Unicorn Bottles with the thin nozzles, you have perfect control when dispensing!

In the Ultracryl range, a distinction is made between two types of paints:

• Regular paints (R-Series/R-Sets): Maximum opacity through optimal pigment selection and mixtures. Ideal for every hobby painter!
• Monopigmented paints (M-Series/M-Sets): Maximum purity through a single brilliant pigment per paint. Depending on the pigment, the opacity varies (keyword: semi-transparent pigments). The perfect paints for experienced and professional painters who are not afraid of mixing!

There are three clear coats with different degrees of gloss, three primer, an airbrush thinner and a thickener. With the thickener you can thicken your paint if you need a heavy body consistency for example.

The Big Box

With the Big-Box you will have the All in One Package nicely stored in a wooden box. The box can be opened completely and thus offers the possibility to serve oneself directly from it. Thus, it is not only perfect for transport, but can also be used for storage.

The best Ingredients:

• More pigment than necessary: Each Ultracryl paint contains more pigments than actually required. This is because all Ultracryl paints can be easily thinned with water, medium or thinner without reducing opacity. Ultracryl paints are therefore ideal for the airbrush and, thanks to their enormous yield, are also less expensive than special airbrush colors.
• Harmless ingredients: Every acrylic paint requires various additives, which ensure optimal flow properties, for example. At Ten01 labs, we guarantee the use of only safe additives and ingredients plus a preservative that is standard in the industry.
• Maximum communication and transparency: on every Ultracryl bottle, we provide information on opacity, lightfastness class, and the exact name of the pigment(s) used. We will also publish all mixing ratios on our website so that you can mix all regular R-series shades yourself with the M-series monopigment paints.
• True quality control through in-house production: Each Ultracryl paint is developed and manufactured in our in-house lab, not commissioned externally. This makes them truly „our paints“ and not the products of another company. No old wine in new bottles. Real innovation instead of old recipes.

Our Unicorn Bottles

Just as in the conception of our Ultracryl paints, we have also broken new ground with the bottles. The most important features of our Unicorn Bottles are:

• 20 ml of paint content in each bottle
• Ultra-clear PET plastic to see the exact color shade
• Thin nozzle for extra economical dispensing of any Ultracryl paint
• Child safety lock in the cap to avoid unwanted surprises
• Special Agitator inside: No classic agitator ball for shaking, but a stainless hexagonal nut for perfect color refreshing.

This is because agitator balls can block the nozzle in a bottle to such an extent that it becomes clogged and no more paint comes out. In addition, agitator balls are rarely guaranteed steel quality and non-rusting. The hex nuts V4A steel quality hexagon nuts used by us are guaranteed to be stainless and due to their shape they not only refresh the colors better during shaking, but the the nozzle can also never clog from the inside.

Since many of you asked us to provide our hoodies, here we go 🙂

• Unisex Full Print Hoodie made from 90% cotton 10% polyester or
• Unisex Full Print Hoodie made from  100% polyester.

Available sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL

The Hoody will be produced and delivered by a print on-demand company in europe. So they can not be send with the paints and this lead to additional shipping costs (download sheet with shipping costs).

You can choose if you want the original version with the Ultracryl logo or the clean version with out.

These products are decorated using the newest and most sustainable technology in the market, then, lazer cut and sewed together -one by one- to ensure the best finishing touches.

No waste, eco inks, produced one by one on-demand.

The sewing is done by experienced sewing workers -in heart of “cotton land” in Central Europe- adding a stylish cut and finishing. The fabrics are pleasant to the touch and have a durable, imperceptible print characterized by a stunning intensity of colours.

Can’t get enough (extra 8 Bottles more)

To keep the pledge structure a bit clear we didn’t include every possible number of 8sets as a separate pledge level. Missing intermediate stages can easily be realized with this add-on.

Shipping:

The Kickstarter Pledge Tiers includes EU and UK taxes, but do not include shipping fees.

Backers located in all other international destinations are responsible for any local taxes or import duties at time of delivery! 

We will charge shipping fees in the after sales process on our sales platform.

We do our best to deliver to all countries in the world. If there are unforseen significant problems in some countries, we reserve the right to exclude them from shipment and refund the amount paid.

Our expenses

As we told you, we want to be as transparent as possible. That’s why we will communicate what we use the money for when we are fully funded. The most expensive part is the pigments.

The Timeline of the Project

We expect to be ready with the production earlier. However, during the winter period. Since our product is not frost-proof, we do not want to risk damage. Of course, if the weather allows it, we will start delivery earlier.
