What a year it was on Titan Forge Patreon! With so many new amazing miniatures getting released, with so many classic fantasy lines being reimagined in a new exciting way. We will never be able to thank you enough for the opportunity to create what we love! We are always so full of anticipation when we release new stuff and are waiting for your comments and opinions about the miniatures. This is really what keeps us going and we thank you again, for being here with us and being a part of this amazing project!

In January, we will embark on a journey far into the depths of the jungle, where there is a race of lizardfolk who rarely let anyone into their kingdom.
For generations, the Amazons from the Temple of Serpents have been protecting an ancient source of magic against raids, explorers, and power-hungry wizards. Nobody could breach their fierce defenses so far and the power contained to thrive and grow. What Amazons did not know is that the jungle continued beyond the mountains up north which they believed to be the edge of the world.
That’s where the true descendants of the Serpent Goddess lived. That’s where they retired after protecting the jungle themselves for eons past. The creatures from the oldest Amazon legends, the ones who supposedly asked them to carry the torch. They were believed to be a myth and now… they are back.
Serpentbloods did not expect the Amazons to do their job so thoroughly and for so long. They did not expect the power to grow that much. Still, they did not come back to congratulate them. They came to warn them. A power this strong will draw a threat beyond the capabilities of a single tribe. They need to find a way to unite before the darkness floods them.

Wir haben kürzlich mit dem Bloodfields Skirmmisher von TF angefangen. Macht super Laune.
Schlanke Regeln (24 Seiten). Große Auswahl an Fraktionen und Kombinationsmöglichkeiten durch Karten-/Punktesystem. Dabei die Minis zum Selberdrucken oder über den Shop beziehbar.
Und was uns am Wichtigsten war: Es lässt sich mit wenig Figuren spielen (ca. zwischen 4 und max. 10). Das macht das ganze wg. Bemalen etc. auch wesentlich einfacher. Zudem hat man mit den Starterboxen schon fast alle Minis, die die jeweilige Fraktion hergibt. Gibt dann meist noch so ein paar Einzelne extra.
Auch eine schöne Discord-Community und es kommen ständig neue Figuren dazu. Die Regeln und die Charakterstats werden auch ständig verbessert. Regelupdate gab es zuletzt im September und jetzt wieder im Dezember. Kann man auch über TTS spielen.

Werde ich mal auschecken. Hast du GridWars schon gespielt?
Grid wars nicht..was ganz witzig war, da ich darüber eigentlich zu Bloodfields gekommen bin.
War auf der Suche nach einem hex-skimrisher und bin auf grid wars gestoßen.
Leider sind wir eine fantasy Gruppe, daher wurde das nichts, obwohl das auch genial aussieht.
Aber bloodfields ist ebenfalls extrem gut. Da stört mich auch das messen nicht.
Finde, dass hat ein bisschen was von Magic, so mit Deckbau der warband und der Synergien die man da entwickeln kann.
Ich find es immer wieder faszinierend zu sehen wie groß anscheinend das Angebot an Lizardmen, und folglich scheinbar auch die Nachfrage, ist und wie sehr GW die Range hat versauern lassen. Naja, zumindest im Neuen Jahr scheint ja wenigstens was zu kommen.
Stimmt, gibt inzwischen ja echt großartige 3D-Lizardmen-Anbieter (LostKingdom, ArchvillainGames, LastSword, RavenTwin, OnePageRules,…) und nun halt noch TitanForge.
Vielleicht hat da GW einfach resigniert, weil sie an die Quali eh nicht mehr rankommen… 😀
Die sehen echt so gut aus, als GW Seraphon Spieler blutet mir n bisl das Herz
Bin jetzt nicht direkt gegen Titanforge:
Reicht irgendwann dann auch mit Echsenmenschen (und Khemri)…
Imperium, Hochelfen, Dunkelelfen, Waldelfen (!!!) usw. usf.
Bei AoS warten etwa Lumineth, Ironjawz und andere sehnsüchtig auf anständige Alternativen!
