As someone who kitbashes alot getting a hold of components I need has always been tricky. Having to scour the stock of bitz resellers or even buying whole kits just for a few parts can really put a dampener on the kitbashing experience. This can be especially frustrating when it comes to those commonly used parts like bones, horns and grisly trophies. Which is how the idea for a Dead Animal Bits kit came about.
Dead Animal Bits is a set of 28mm heroic scale conversion pieces, designed to compliment wargaming miniatures. Every individual component within the collection features a high level of detail and has been meticulously designed to seamlessly complement a wide variety of 28mm scaled miniature ranges.
The driving goal of Dead Animal Bits is to offer a practical and budget-friendly alternative to the often arduous task of procuring specific components from various other miniature kits. Making those big project ideas an attainable prospect.
The components found within the Dead Animal Bits set will allow you to add that extra layer of intricacy and personality to your miniatures, bases and terrain. Making them the perfect addition to your tool kit whether you’re a kitbasher or not.
The parts selected for this kit were chosen based on my personal kitbashing experiences. It features parts that I found frequent uses for or had particular trouble getting a hold of. The components are also „setting agnostic“ in the sense that they can find uses in fantasy, sci-fi and even historical settings, making them useful to every kind of wargamer
The funding sought for this project will facilitate the production of these components in hard plastic. While the set features an assortment of 19 distinct pieces, some of which will be available in various sizes, each sprue will contain multiples of each part. Giving you plenty of components to adorn your miniatures.
