Last Sword Miniatures: The Queen’s Army
Bei Last Sword Miniatures gibt es diesen Monat einmal wieder Elfen.
May: The Queen’s Army
Hey there, Elf lovers and all you other wanderers still sticking around!
This month is really special, and we have worked very hard until the last moment to finish it.
Firstly, we have the Queen Calanthia. For this occasion, we opted for an armorless version that looks more majestic, and she’s holding the scepter with the royal symbols.
As you can see, we have dedicated a lot of time to the horse, both in conceptualization and execution. You can use it as a unicorn, or consider that the horn is just part of the helmet’s decoration.
Accompanying the Queen is her Battle Standard. It’s made from a branch of the sacred tree, and the Royal Banners hang from its branches. These miniatures are designed to be placed together crossed within a unit, and that’s when they look best, even though they could also go straight.
As the third character, we have one of the Queen’s Handmaidens mounted on an Eagle wearing the ceremonial armor of the Goddess. We wanted to give you the option of a lance too, but we couldn’t manage it.
Regarding the units, this month we have a double cavalry. They are in a more relaxed position to serve as an escort for the Queen. We have designed them without a base so that you can use them as either Light Helmets or Reapers with a bow.
The unit includes 5 horses, 8 torsos, 6 helmeted heads, 12 weapons, and a total of about 40 pieces. That means you have many combinations to play with.
On the other hand, we have the Queen’s Longbows. There are 8 archer models, with small variations in pose. The heads are attached so that you can create more elaborate hairstyles. Additionally, the command group includes a teenage musician and a brazier with the Sacred Flames.
And last but not least, we have a Almenara (Watchtower). I’m not sure if there is an exact name in English that expresses the functionality of this building. Here in Spain, they were widely used during the Reconquista to sound the alarm about incursions in vast territories.
Following the model of the farm, you will have an FDM version, and we will try to make cuts for resin.
We hope you like it 🙂
Sehr nice… 🙂
