Weil sich scheinbar keiner Traut, sag ich es halt 😉 .
Wie ihre Eldar Rip Offs sind diese Tau RipOffs einfach nur häßlich, aber zum Ausgleich schön teuer.
Danke aber da gibt es genug physische und digitale Alternativen die deutlich besser sind als das hier Angebotene.
Diese Figuren erweitern weder sinnvoll oder ästhetisch die bestehenden Tau von GW. Noch sind sie eigenständig genug um als „full conversion“ genutzt werden zu können. Noch bieten sie eine attraktive preisliche Alternative.
Sehe ich deutlich anders.
Ork-, Imperiale Armee- und Space Marine-Alternativen gibt es tatsächlich zuhauf, Tau sehe ich dagegen selten. Zumindest wenn es auch Tau sein sollen, die sich in eine GW Armee einfügen. Man kann natürlich auch Gundam-Dinger nehmen, aber die stechen dann, anders als diese hier, heraus.
Die alternativen Krisis und Kolosse scheinen mir für Leute gedacht zu sein, die sich eine komplette Drohnenarmee wünschen, was sich bei Tau aufdrängt, aber im GW Sortiment nur teilweise ausgefüllt wird.
Die Waffen sind sicherlich generell für jeden Tauspieler nützlich, der keinen Zugriff auf 3D Druck hat.
Optisch empfinde ich das ganze als ansprechend und finde, dass es sich nahtlos in die Vorlage einfügen dürfte, dieses kastenförmige Design in Kombination mit den runden Tausymbolen und Flügelchen ist da schon charakteristisch. Wenn einem die hier nicht gefallen, findet man auch GW’s Tau hässlich. Das kann man natürlich machen, ist aber Geschmackssache.
Preislich ist das ganze im oberen Segment, aber Kromlech macht relativ häufig Rabattaktionen (20% am Schwarzen Freitag z.B.), bei Fantasywelt gibt’s auch auf alles Prozente.
Dann schau mal nach Pipermakes.
Interessanter Hinweis, aber das wäre für mich jetzt ein Beispiel, das durch seine sehr comicartigen Proportionen deutlich stärker von GWs Vorlage abweicht.
Und ein Patreon ist schon noch etwas deutlich anderes als fertige Resinmodelle, aber ich weiß, dass deine Erfahrungen mittlerweile andere sind. Aber mein Überblick über den Druckmarkt in D aktuell ist der: Wenn man andere professionell drucken lässt, ist es genauso teuer wie Resinmodelle, wenn man selber druckt, benötigt es eine sehr hohe zeitliche Investition, die einem dann fürs Malen fehlt. 3D Druck ist nur dann eine (günstige) Alternative, wenn man einen guten Kumpel hat, der einem nur den Materialpreis berechnet ;).
Wenns mal läuft, dann Drucker anwerfen und machen lassen. Dazwischen kann man malen. Wenn er fertig ist rein in die Washstation. Trocknen lassen, dazwischen kann man malen. Dann noch Härten und dann kann man schon die gedruckten Modelle malen. 😉
Natürlich ist erstmal eine Lernkurve bis alles läuft, aber malen lernt man auch nicht an einem Tag!
Hm, also ich find die eigentlich voll hübsch. Cooles Design, recht modular und die Bemalung sieht auch echt gut aus. (Ich steh auf dieses rot-weiß-Schema mit blauem Plasma-Leuchten) 😀
Ich hab jetzt zuerst auch gar nicht an die GW-Tau gedacht sondern eher an Infinity oder Cyberpunk. 🙂
Preislich ist es jetzt schon recht hoch aber im Rahmen der GW-Bepreisung (um beim Vergleich mit GW/Tau zu bleiben). Aber nur meine Meinung. 😉
Finde die auch teilweise ganz gut, aber würde mir eher einzelne Drohnen als ganze Trupps holen.
Designs sind gut, aber ich frage mich, was das darstellen soll. Drohnen, die als Krisis- und Koloss-Ersatz fungieren, oder wie?
Idee ist gut, catcht mich aber nicht.
