15mm Saurophaganax! This monstrous allosaur was as big and bulky as a tyrannosaur. With this colossus I wanted to do something a bit different than the usual “striding forward on mud flat” and wanted him to fit on a 40×40 so have him at the apex of a knoll. He’s all resin and will be released soon.

About three weeks ago I asked here and on several groups what 28mm sci-fi gamers wanted to see most in an expansion of our Scavs of Planet K. One of the most popular responses was for close combat Scavs and so eight poses have been made. Here is a sneak preview.

These are called Ts’Geel on Planet K, which we might translate as “tick removers.” The Ts’Ge is a parasitic insectoid even worse than earth ticks, and people who are expert at removing Ts’Ge are called Ts’Geel. These are special assault tribesmen and women who are fearless, stealthy, and excel in close combat. They are sent in to remove persistent, heavily dug-in opposition, hence “Ts’Geel.” They typically use pistols, scrap swords, and simple, locally-made frag grenades.

While they are mostly lightly armed and equipped, one especially strong and fearless Ts’Geel in each team will be the “Ungond,” roughly translated as “steel man.” He operates the flame unit, and since he draws a lot of fire, and must operate the unit standing, he is heavily armoured with steel and ablative protection. He will take point when the scavs are storming a narrow corridor, say on a crashed starship hulk. He will often be accompanied by one or two Ts’Geel carrying specially treated steel shields to further protect him.
