The Blacktalons Strike Out Into the Age of Sigmar with Precision and Ferocity

While wandering bands of Questor Soulsworn may undertake many of Sigmar’s more dangerous missions, there are certain operatives in the God-King’s employ who take on the very worst he has to offer.

This group of divine assassins is known as the Blacktalons. Originally formed long ago for the purpose of slaying an ancient god, the warband accomplished its mission and passed into secrecy – until it was resurrected under the Knight-Zephyros Neave Blacktalon, who gave the party its current name.

These heroes were immortalised in the Warhammer+ show Blacktalon – and soon you will be able to dispatch them on perilous missions of your own devising with cool new models.

Neave Blacktalon is the leader, a force of nature who wields her Whirlwind axes and can ride the winds aetheric at great speed. Her long campaigns in Aqshy and Ghyran have made this Knight-Zephyros a legend, though the toll of reforging has reduced her to little more than a living weapon.

In truth, Blacktalon wrestles with fractured memories – uncovering the truth of her past is the focus of her self-titled show.

Neave’s mentor is Hendrick the Silver Wolf, a consummate warrior and a respected hero with many long centuries of hard-fought experience behind him. Long ago, he led the Blacktalons – named the Silverwolves under his command – but has utmost faith in Sigmar’s plans for Neave, and acts as counsel and strategist for the group.

Every bit as skillful as Neave, Shakana Goldenblade is the eagle-eyed sharpshooter of the group. She’s accompanied by her Star-eagle, Anda, and the pair act as scout and sniper, alerting the Blacktalons to incoming foes, thwarting ambushes, and unleashing flurries of supremely accurate arrows.

Shakana’s close relationship with Neave is often fraught with rivalry and resentment – she believes the impetuous Knight-Zephyros is too fast to throw her life away in the line of duty, despite the heavy toll inflicted by Reforging.

Though the Blacktalons are known for swift and precise action, occasionally a profound application of force is the only way of getting the job done. Rostus Oxenhammer brings indomitable strength and unshakeable willpower to the group, a Paladin from Ghur armed with a massive grandhammer. He can always be found where the fighting is thickest, and while off duty is the jovial backbone of the group.

Lastly is Lorai, Child of the Abyss, an elegant Soulscryer who has worked with the Blacktalons for as long as anyone can remember. She is a talented soul-mage who lends her magical talents to tracking the group’s prey across the realms.

As an Idoneth sorcerer, Lorai has mastery over water in all its forms, while as a Soulscryer she can tune into the spirit and emotions of living creatures, and unleash obliviating magics that can warp and destroy mortal memories.
