Story

Our story is set in a parallel universe where a series of great plagues have ravished the known world and beyond since late antiquity and, as a consequence, by the the 16th century in which the game is set, have sharply limited the number of males who survive to adulthood. While much of the structure and history of this world are close to our own there are also many differences. The primary one being that armies are almost entirely composed of females. This Kickstarter concerns two of the factions in this world.

First, the landsknecht mercenary company, The Honorable Company of St. Joan, known colloquially as the Blackhearts. They are headquartered in the eastern border lands of the sprawling Holy Roman Empire but active throughout the old world wherever gold and conflict are to be found. While the majority of the Blackhearts come from the Empire and it’s near neighbors, within the company’s ranks can be found warriors from all across the known world.

The Second faction is the City State of Nythalas, founded as a Greek Colony on the North African coast. The might of Nythalas has waxed and waned over the two millennia since its founding, but it is now at the height of it’s power. The Nythalasian Navy contests the Mediterranean Sea with France, Spain, the Holy Roman Empire, the Turks, Venetians, and Byzantines, while her armies control trade routes across the Sahara and deep into the interior of Africa.

AN UPDATE ON STL FILES.  After some thought, STL’s will now be delivered as soon as they are ready. By the end of this May at the latest.

The Sorceress

As a token of our appreciation for your pledge, an unpainted unassembled resin copy of the Sorceress will be included as a gift with every pledge for physical rewards.

Stretch Goals

These sets will be unlocked as the Kickstarter progresses. The sets will be available individually as pledges, and as add-ons for other pledges. While only the first two stretch goals are shown we will reveal more as the campaign progresses.

Add-ons

The following sets are available as add-ons to any of the pledges are they can be selected through the add-ons only pledge. This is a chance to pick up some of our previous figures at substantial savings from retail.

The War Elephant and four woman crew are available as an Add On. The War Elephant and crew are $48. They are only available in plastic.

The Coven of the Nameless Thirteen is available as an add-on for $90

The Coven Shrine is available as an add-on for $36.

The Blackhearts Infantry Squad includes nine miniatures armed with a variety of weapons and is available as an add-on for $54.

The Blackhearts Auxiliaries are available as an add-on for $42.

The Half Giantess was actually meant to fill the role of an Ogress but I was told she is too pretty for an Ogress so she’s a Half Giantess. This is the larger version of the Sargent in the Blackhearts Infantry pack because people wanted a human sized version of her in the last Kickstarter. The Lord Commander is not included in this set, she is for scale only. The Half Giantess is available as an add-on for $18.

A Note on the STL Files

All Files come pre-supported

We strive to produce models that will print with as little support and parts as possible. Some models print in one go whilst most are split up into parts which must be printed separately and then assembled.

The file format of choice will be .STL and the models shall be zipped and made available to the user for download. The user is responsible for downloading their product and must have a valid internet connection and email with which to collect their reward, via internet download.

Backers must realize that the resolution you obtain on your print is down to the system you use. Our high resolution files will give you almost render quality prints on high end Resin machines, whilst the same files will produce lesser resolution prints on standard FDM printers.

When using our digital media, we do not hold ourselves responsible for the production or manufacturing process of the design, this is exclusively up to the user.  Users may modify models and files at their own risk and only for their own personal use. Modified files are not guaranteed by us and as such, users do this under their own risk and know how.

The Images shown on the campaign page are just for visualization and although they may come very close, they may not be an exact representation of the final design or printed model, which may vary.

We reserve the right to alter any of the models shown, at any time, before delivery, with the intent of improving the design, or efficiency of production.

Please note these files are sold to the individual backer for their own private use and my not be transferred to third parties under any circumstances and the miniatures produced using these files can not be sold by the backer.

This reward will be available as quickly after the conclusion of the campaign as we can prepare them.
