CityCrushers : Kickstarter läuft
Troublemaker Games versuchen derzeit mit einem neuen Kickstarter ihr Glück.
Und darum geht es:
How to pledge?
If you want the big boxed game sets, the easiest thing is to click the appropriate pledge level and grab ‚em. Add ons are also available for the boxed game pledges.
If you only want the smaller sets (Eg, you just want the set of 2 Capital Crushers), click „Add Ons Only“, then select which of the smaller sets you want.
What is CityCrushers?
CityCrushers is a tabletop wargame, involving robots that shoot each other with guns the length of medium sized houses. Perfectly normal.
The CityCrushers boxed game set is packed full of multi-part plastic miniatures and modular plastic scenery.
The rules that have an emphasis on campaign play, as you build your gangs of city-destroying robots, compete with other gangs for Tech, and fight it out over the course of several games to see who is the greatest giant robot commander in the great wide world.
Why Kickstarter?
Our new game, CityCrushers, is planned to include four new plastic sprues. As tooling for new plastic sprues is very expensive, we need the backing of a Kickstarter campaign in order to afford to produce our game. Plastic sprues are pretty expensive to produce, and we want to tool a minimum of four new sprues!
Troublemaker Games already produce over a dozen different plastic sprues, including the plastic scenery sprue that will be included in the CityCrushers Boxed Game:
All prototype models seen on this page were 3d printed and painted – the boxed game’s models will be supplied unpainted and unbuilt.
The CityCrushers Boxed Game Set shall contain:
- 16x City Crusher Robots
- 6x Capital Crusher Robots
- 16x 40mm diameter round bases (with Health & Energy spinner dials)
- 6x 80mm diameter round bases (with Health & Energy spinner dials)
- 10x Plastic Modular Scenery Sprues
- 3x Ruined Buildings
- 12x Tech Tokens
- 2x D10 Dice
- An A5 size rulebook (32 pages)
All models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The City Crusher and Capital Crusher models are modular, and can be built in multiple different combinations of weapons, and traction systems (feet or tracks).

- A Country Crusher with Tracks

For those spending less, (or for those who want to add even more Crushers to their standard Boxed Game Set!) the Lite Edition of the Boxed Game Set shall contain:

The Model Kits
The three main robot model sets in the game are the three classes of „Crushers“. Each can be fitted with a variety of different weapons, and can be posed in different ways.
The City Crusher and Capital Crusher will be multi-part plastic kits, and the Country Crusher will (initially) be a hybrid plastic and resin kit. If sufficient Stretch Goals are reached, the Capital Crusher will also be produced in plastic (and halve in price!).
The bases the Crushers are mounted on are 40mm and 80mm in diameter, and include spinner dials marked with numerals, for tracking the Health and Energy status of each Crusher during gameplay.
The CityCrushers set will also come with ten of our existing Gothic City Sprues, to allow the creation of a full game’s worth of scenery to battle over, around, and through.
The rulebook will be printed in A5 format, and will also remain available online.
The writer of our rules system is Barny Skinner.
He has won:
- Best Solo Game, Board Game Geek One Card Contest – One Card Dungeon.
- Best Overall, Board Game Geek Solitaire PnP Contest – The Brass Age.
- Best Overall, Board Game Geek Nine Card Contest – City Of Fury.
One Card Dungeon has subsequently been published, and two more of his card strategy games are currently under contract to be released soon.
Stretch Goals
As we cross stretch goals we’ll be unlocking more model kits, and hopefully adding free bonuses to existing pledges too (we’ve managed to include free bonus models on every one of our Crowdfunders to date, and we’d love to continue that tradition!).
All Stretch Goals that are unlocked for the CityCrushers Boxed Game set, will also be added to the Deluxe Edition Boxed Game set.
We have a good number of Stretch Goals waiting in the wings, from free extras, more add-on sculpts, and even some more as-yet unseen plastic sprue designs.
Every Pledger to the Campaign who has pledged at least £50 will also recieve free STL files to allow them to matter print upgrades to their Crushers, and their gaming tables – this collection of STL’s will grow steadily throughout the campaign!
Who Are Troublemaker Games?
We are an established wargames development company who design and supply plastic, metal and resin miniatures both for our own ranges, and for other wargames retail companies, including Vanguard Miniatures (Most of the Vanguard ranges in all scales) and Mantic Games (Most of the Mantic scenery kits ranges).
We have previously run and managed twelve other Crowdfunding campaigns, raising a total over £103,000 since 2013, to deliver plastic and metal models, and STL sets. All of our previous campaigns have been fully delivered.
Models designed by Ben Skinner, rules designed by Barny Skinner.
Die Kampagne läuft noch 8 Tage.
So einfach, dass es schon wieder genial ist,
Und 100% niedlich. Aber optisch halt auch total geklaut😊👍🏼
Von was denn geklaut?
