Our Chibi-Heroes, fresh from their myriad adventures beyond the city walls, return home with tales of their exploits, oblivious to the new threat lurking beneath their very feet. For the Rat Duchess, cunning and ambitious, has set her sights on the surface world. Her kingdom, a thriving metropolis of ratfolk nestled in the polluted sewers beneath the city, has survived and prospered through the leftovers of the surface dwellers. The ratfolk, living off discarded relics and remnants, have carved out a vibrant society in the depths of the city’s underbelly.

But as our heroes rest and celebrate their victories, will they be aware of the shadow growing beneath them? Will the laughter and cheer drown out the faint scratching that echoes from the sewer grates? Will they sense the stirrings of the ratfolk, readying themselves for the orders of their duchess?

With the Rat Duchess‘ plan unfolding in the darkest corners of the city, our heroes must realize this looming threat before it’s too late. They must see through the illusions of peace and prosperity to the struggle that is yet to come. Will they be able to stem the tide of the Rat Duchess‘ ambition and protect their city? Only time will tell. The next chapter of their epic journey is about to begin.
