Blood Bowl Star Player Withergrasp Doubledrool Denies Dodges by Keeping Four Eyes on the Opposition
Jim: “Mutations really help this Star Player hold people in place, Bob.”Bob: “Withergrasp, Jim?”
Jim: “No Bob, with a tentacle.”
Blood Bowl fans love a rags-to-riches story, and few are quite as impressive as Withergrasp Doubledrool. Born from human parents and abandoned in the wild woods, he made early use of his two heads to cry twice as loud for twice as long, attracting curious Beastmen.
When the Beastmen noticed his mutations, they knew the Dark Gods had truly blessed him. Bestowing the child with an appropriately descriptive name, they took young Withergrasp into their care and trained him up to be one of the best area denial players in all Blood Bowl. That’s a story fit for the silver screen if ever there was one.
With Tentacles, a Prehensile Tail, and the Tackle skill, even the nimblest of players are going to be eating dirt when they try and dodge out of Withergrasp’s tackle zone. To add insult to injury, his Two Heads make him pretty nifty when dodging himself.
If someone wants to tangle with this tentacled twosome, they better Watch Out! because he counts as having the Dodge skill the first time someone attempts a Block action on him. Even if someone overwhelms both of Withergraps’s brains, he can still Wrestle them down.
Despite having two heads, you’re only paying for one at the low price of 170,000GP, and he can play for all Favoured of… Chaos teams. He’ll come with his own rules card and will be released in resin in the near future by Forge World.
Bob: “All of these star player faces, I can’t keep up.”
Jim: “Two faces with Doubledrool, Bob.”
Bob: “Doubledrool? It was bad enough when we only had one Drull last month…”
