Die kleinen Halblange bringen einen großen Appetit und Sportsgeist in die Stadien der Alten Welt, mit zwei neuen Starspielern für Blood Bowl.
A Delicious Duo of Halfing Star Players Bring the Half-Time Snacks to Blood Bowl
Bob: “Hard to believe these are true Star players, what with their tiny size, Jim.”
Jim: “Well, their legends are well-earned, Bob. Perhaps their greatness is concentrated?”
Bob: “I’ll take your word for it, Jim. Us ogres don’t concentrate well.”
Blood Bowl stinks. Two teams of monsters sweat it out in foul weather – and let’s not say anything about the state of the dugouts. But once in a while, a crowd may go wild as a nicer scent cuts through the funk, a smell portending the arrival of the Halflings.
Cindy Piewhistle has a name that may tickle the ears of fans of that perennial Blood Bowl periodical – Spike! Journal. This slinger of baked goods is the sister of the famous columnist and interviewer Mindy Piewhistle.
She’s joined by a bona fide legend – Puggy Baconbreath, a player known for his amazing feats of athleticism* and dedication to the game. Often training for as long as one whole hour per day, Puggy has iron willpower and has never once snuck off for a mid-drive snack.**
As the owner of Piewhistle’s Preeminent Patisserie, Cindy likes to hand piping-hot samples out to her opponents with the Bombardier skill – and can even throw a second pie thanks to the All You Can Eat special rule.**
Puggy brings a dose of Halfling Luck, a much-desired resource for Halfling teams. Both of these Star players can be taken by teams playing in the Halfling Thimble Cup or Old World Classic.
Both characters will be released by Forge World in resin – in one box, which also contains their rules.
* For a Halfling…
** Ever the pro, he restricts himself only to pre-game, pre-drive, half-time, post-game, and post-drive meals, plus meals during stoppages, turnovers, and injury time.
*** The secret ingredient is explosives.
