AntiMatter Games: Bemalte Sunken Citadel Modelle

Here are some pics of the WIP Nautiloid Thaumaturge from the Sunken Citadel Invaders side. This model was primed in white and then give light base coats on all the main sections (beige on the shell, pink tentacles, light blue on crystal and spell and light gold on magic items. The next step was lots of different color washes of Liquitex and Dr. Martins inks and Matt Medium. It was a combination of Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, Emerald Green, Magenta and Pthlho blue. The tentacles got a few layers of highlighting but they are still rough. The shell is a little further along with more edge highlights. It’s good enough for gaming right now but it could use a few more hours of details and lighting effects to make it ready for display.
Here is the Phantom Shark for DeepWars, Sunken Citadel. This predatory wild sea creature can track any hidden prey on the map through scent trails.
Aus dem Nautilusmodell werde ich nicht ganz schlau, was stellt der helle Wulst vorne dar? Tintenwolke? Geistergegner?
Ich glaube ohne die Wolke und den Gegenständen in den Fangarmen würde er mir besser gefallen.
Den Koboldhai finde ich sehr gelungen.
Muss gestehen das Unterwasserthema reizt mich immer wieder und ich habe auch schon einiges an Modellen für das Thema. Ein paar sind sogar schon bemalt.
Vielleicht mach ich ja mal ein Armeeprojekt für eine Unterwasserarmee.
