Der Himmel über dem Pazifik füllt sich mit Assen und Napoleon Bonaparte reißt nochmal die Macht über Frankreich an sich.
Black Powder Epic Battles: The Hundred Days Campaign Supplement – 24,00€
Napoleon Bonaparte, the Corsican Tyrant, plunged Europe back into war once again by leading an emboldened French army against a resolute England and her allies. The Hundred Days campaign raged, witnessing numerous battles both before and after that decisive day at Waterloo.
Authored by Adrian McWalter (Albion Triumphant Volumes 1 & 2; A Clash of Eagles), this supplement for Black Powder Epic Battles presents 18 new scenarios covering the entire breadth of the campaign. Alongside the new units, rules, ‘what if?’ scenarios, and commanders is a system to link all your games in a grand campaign that follows the events of the Hundred Days, one battle at a time. Finally, full orders of battle are presented for all the French, Prussian, English and Allied forces involved in the fighting.
The entire panoply of the Hundred Days awaits within.
Blood Red Skies: Japanese Ace Pilot Kaname Harada – 16,00€
Harada-san was an A6M2 Zero pilot serving on the Carrier Soryu, taking part in the Pearl Harbor, Indian Ocean, Darwin, and Midway operations. He understood how to use the mixed armament of his Zero to herd opponents into a kill position, claiming 19 victories. At Midway he led three Combat Air Patrols (CAP), two from the Soryu and the third from Hiryu after his home ship was crippled. During these sorties he claimed five American Torpedo bombers downed. Badly wounded in late 1942, Harada-san spent the remainder of the war as an instructor.

He flew alongside Saburo Sakai at Iwo Jima, who called him ‘the toughest fighter pilot in the Imperial Navy’. In December 1944 Muto was sent to the Japanese Home islands to defend them against B29 Superfortress attacks, flying the powerful N1K-J Shiden. When war began he flew against the US forces in the Philippines, bringing down a P-40 on his first day of combat, and shooting down the first B-17 to be lost in the Pacific theatre. After increasing his tally to a total of more than 60 planes shot down Sakai took a bullet to the head but still limped his damaged plane 1,000km home and reported to his superior before collapsing. Sakai recovered and returned to combat despite only having partial vision in one eye. Sakai survived the war — no small feat in the face of US air dominance in the later stages – and lived to the age of 84.
