This weekend, new multi-part sets will be delivered to our store. The Pirate Crew will allow you to assemble shield-bearers, archers, spearmen, crossbowmen and even wild, bloodthirsty and crazy thugs.

The crossbow is one of the most dangerous ranged weapons. The main advantage over the bow is its power with which it fires a projectile and the ease of use.Reloading the crossbow is a big challenge, the shooter who does it is vulnerable to enemy attacks. Reloading requires a mechanical crank, or a lot of force to pull the string manually. For obvious reasons, the shooter in such a situation becomes an easy, exposed target.To prevent this problem, the transom was invented. Large, forged shields protecting an adult human as he calmly charges another bolt.Pirates love to use crossbows in their sea and land looting.
Ich mag die unreleased Miniaturen eigentlich immer sehr aber die Piraten mit den Schwertern die so eine komische Affen Haltung haben finde ich verwirrend.
Und die kettenglieder verstehe ich auch nicht.
Hab ich mir auch gedacht, aber das ist halt der Preis der Modularität.
und nie wieder Achselschweiß 😉
Die Kettenglieder sollen für die „Korsarenplünderer“ stehen. Im Loretext steht zu dieser Einheit, dass man die Plünderer in Ketten gefangen hält, weil es solche verrückten Mörder sein sollen, und quasi nur raus lässt, um zu kämpfen.
Die Armhaltung der Schwerter ist echt merkwürdig. Das hätte ich mir nicht als Promomaterial ausgesucht. Die Schützen sind ja ganz gut, aber der Pirat mit den beiden Schwertern in dieser „Affenhaltung“ geht für mich leider gar nicht.
Und praktischerweise tragen sie ihre Rettungsflösse direkt am Mann.
