Trench Crusade: Communicant anti-tank hunter

32mm scale grimdark miniatures set in the horror of the Trench Crusade.

During the First Crusade the Knights Templar discovered a demonic artefact beneath Jerusalem. In their blind hubris they were corrupted by it, thus becoming the first heretics, turning the Holy City into a depraved pit where Hell and our mortal plane now bleed into each other. The Church has been trying to retake the Holy City for the past thousand years, and the crusade has now progressed to more modern weaponry.

The aim of this Kickstarter is quite simple: to bring the first miniatures from the Trench Crusades to the tabletop…

Backing at the £18 pledge level (the only pledge level – we like to keep things simple for you and us, but mainly for us!) will get you:

• 1 x Communicant anti-tank hunter (60mm miniature)
• 1 x Ammo monk (32mm miniature)
• All FREE stretch goals!

Miniatures are being cast by the awesome folks at Zealot Miniatures in the latest Siocast thermoplastic. This incredible material combines the durability of plastic with a similar level of detail to resin, gloriously combining both casting methods. More details on Siocast technology can be found below. Miniatures supplied unpainted, some assembly required.

The estimated delivery date for this project is November/December 2022. Just please bear in mind this is only an estimate (for example if we wildly over-fund, and I have to sculpt multiple stretch goal miniatures, it may take a bit longer). But don’t worry – I will update you throughout the journey towards fulfilment!

Stretch Goals:

The first four stretch goals are FREE to all backers, including the combat medic miniature! More goals are in the pipeline, so watch out for updates during the campaign…

Versand:

Costs for postage & packaging will be added in the pledge manager. This is because postage costs have a habit of fluctuating when you least expect it, so it is better for everyone if we charge for shipping when we are very close to actually shipping the miniatures out.

We will be shipping from the UK with Royal Mail. To give you a rough idea, here are the approximate costs by region:

• UK 2nd class standard = £2-3
• EU standard international = £4-5
• USA & Canada standard international = £5-6
• Australia, New Zealand and Rest of the World standard international = £6-8

Your miniatures will be packed and sealed in plastic baggies, carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and sent in cardboard pip boxes for added protection. Delivery will be via Royal Mail 2nd Class in the UK, or International Standard (not tracked) for international backers. If anyone would like Tracked delivery, please get in touch and I can find out how much this would cost to your region.

Also, due to the logistics of international shipping, backers in different regions of the world may receive their rewards sooner than others.

UPDATE 25th July 2022: Since the Kickstarter has wildly exceeded our expectations, with well over 1000 backers and multiple stretch goals hit, the delivery date will have to be moved back, as per above. Apologies for this, but our priority is to get everything right for you – the best sculpts, the best casting, the best delivery. You can see more in Update #8.
