Statuesque: Left at the Bottom of the Garden 3
Der neue Kickstarter zu Left at the Bottom of the Garden steht in den Startlöchern.
I’ve taken so many photos this week. And edited so many photos too. But nearly there now.Don’t forget that the Left at the Bottom of the Garden Chapter Three Kickstarter launches on July 26th! Set some pennies aside for cloth wolves and flying things.
Haven’t posted in faaaaaaaar too long, but I’ve been working (and prevaricating) away on Left at the Bottom of the Garden Chapter Three. I just cooked the first production mould!Still lots to do, but I’m over the hump. I can see the finish line and a Kickstarter campaign. Just not sure exactly when.
I get so much pleasure from painting block colour.Highlights are stressful and require consideration. Washes are hit and miss. But block colour will never let you down. Now I will embrace the chaos and splatter this big guy with lots and lots of very thin paint from a toothbrush, but I’d also happily leave things here.(Kickstarter prep ongoing. Getting there.)
First stage of splatter applied and things are looking… intense. But fear not, it’s not as stark in reality (it’s a dark grey not black splatter) and I’ll knock it back a bit with some base colour glazes in the lower areas. Then it’ll be time for light splatter, predominantly from below for his FLUFFY WHITE BELLY!
That’s the light coloured splatter done. Now to redefine the seams and recesses to bring some order from the chaos. Bit of glazing maybe, too.Quite pleased with the wolfish colour transition though – just using a toothbrush!
Finally ready for launching the Left at the Bottom of the Garden Chapter Three Kickstarter at the end of July (apart from endless photo taking and editing, and Kickstarter building…).Here’s a cloth wolf – growling.
Schon gebucht:)
