Some of you who know me might know that I have always been a big fan of Allan Diego Carrasco’s work and that he is probably my most favourite sculptor of all times! I always wanted to work with him and I almost did so about 12 years ago. Sadly, I had to pass up the opportunity due to unforeseen circumstances at the time, but we always stayed in touch and I just hoped I would get another chance one day. That chance came earlier this year and I was able to cross off something that was very high on my bucket list!

I proudly present Nkosi. An anthropomorphic lion/human hybrid character. He will be part of a new range for Ouroboros Miniatures called Animal Kingdoms, which will be Allan’s signature series for us. And what is a better way to launch the range with than with the king himself!

There were quite some of you who got very close or spot on with their guesses. Anyone that guessed it correctly, or came very close to guessing what it was, were added to the draw. Some of you got the cryptic hints correct in parts and a special shout out to Jeremy Bernhardt, who also got the name of the sculptor right! The cryptic hint A-Z is as follows. The “A“ stands for the sculptor’s name, Allan Carrasco. And the “Z“ stands for Zulu, the language from which we chose the name for the character for.

We put the names in an online random name picker and spun the wheel! The lucky winner is M Giordana Fiordelmondo!
