Osmoticmeld: Kickstarter läuft
Eine Kampagne mit besonderen Kreaturen läuft derzeit auf Kickstarter.
Osmoticmeld is an experiment! It is a collaborative partnership between the renowned artist Ian Miller and myself, and was born of a serendipitous meeting over social media many moons ago.
The project spans a length of time that has seen me transition from a novice sculptor to a “professional” one, but I make no claims as to my competency in that department, I merely attempt to make a living from it these days!
Most of you will be familiar with Ian’s work, those gorgeous pen and inks that were so formative at Games Workshop. Ian said he wanted to be a train station, but only managed a short career as a signal box on a branch line near Wigan, and that he started to draw and paint in desperation, and never stopped. These last few years have been a pleasure and a privilege so thankfully he didn’t!
I must also extend special thanks to both Sebastian Czarnecki and David Pauwels, they have been incredibly generous with their time in giving advice, support and guidance: Seb’s also designed our website and David’s done some fabulous work with his hair sticks!
Finally, many thanks to the members of the Oldhammer Sculpting Group on Facebook for their support and encouragement over the past few years, cheers folks!
We hope you can join us on the creative adventure, and maybe this will be the first of many.
The Models
In keeping with the “Oldhammer” feel we have not employed plastic bases, and the models for the most part will be cast from white metal alloy. Some parts, however, may end up in resin due to their sheer size, such as the wheels and draught beasts from the Chariot of Fire or the spherical body of the Spindle Dragon, but we can only make that final decision once we start production as it will depend on the numbers needed.
Many models require assembly, and some will benefit from pinning, so I wouldn’t recommend some of these larger, multipart models for beginners. I’m more than happy to give advice as I have already made up the full range.
Here are some samples that David has painted up, we hope to preview more of his work as the project progresses.
Die Pledges:
There are 6 pledge levels, but you can upgrade at any time. All pledge levels will give you access to our pledge manager, which will allow you to order additional items after the campaign. Further, all pledge levels, with the exception of Tail in the Pot, will attract stretch goal freebies, these will be illustrated next to each pledge level as the campaign progresses.
Includes 10 white metal miniatures with their feet firmly grounded: The Stranger & Rusty, Fishgorg, Elkhand (Dwarf), Crow, Belcher, Rattus Endem, Rattus Toxo, Brolly Bilger and Signum (Orc). You can choose additional models from the add-ons too. You will get access to our pledge manager once the campaign ends.
Includes 4 multipart models with their respective protagonist mounted on wild beasties: Fishgorg on Spindle Dragon, Fishgorg & Snapper, Erlkwing and Snot Goblin and Rattus Limus. These models require assembly, pinning is recommended for some parts (the Spindle Dragon in particular) and as such are not recommended for beginners. You can choose additional models from the add-ons too. You will get access to our pledge manager once the campaign ends.
Includes the Chariot of Fire multipart model and driver. This model requires assembly, pinning is recommended for some parts and as such is not recommended for beginners. You can choose additional models from the add-ons too. You will get access to our pledge manager once the campaign ends.

Shipping
We’ve used other people’s experiences to guide our decision to charge shipping after the Kickstarter ends, based on actual costs. We will collect this charge via our Pledge Manager after the campaign closes. We will be shipping your pledges from Scotland in the UK with a variety of shippers, we will liaise directly with you to find the best solution for your requirements.

Sludge?! Turnip 28?!
OLDHAMMER! Oder jede Warhammer Chaos Truppe. Mordheim. Song of Blades and Heroes oder vergleichbare Indiesysteme.
1+++ genau 👍
Geht mir auch so
Hab keine Kreditkarte und nur dafür eine anschaffen…
