The modular terraces set from the #AncientStarport range was born from the same basic idea as the terraces/foundations system from our Versatiles range (and owes quite a bit to Sean Patten’s beautiful tables at ironhands.com that I tried to recreate as a teenager in the early 2000s). Namely: how do you add convincingly looking hills and multiple elevation levels to an urban table?

The set includes 9 modules: four corners, four sides and one piece with just the basic wall texture. The internal sides are fully textured, but they still sit flush against each other – giving you a ton of options for rearranging the the pieces for various setups. Oh, and the fact that the tiles on top are roughly 25x25mm each won’t hurt if you plan to re-use these for dungeon crawling in #dnd and whatnot #stl

3 days left until launch! Today we have a small preview of the only modular set from the #AncientStarport we haven’t shown you before – the modular starport houses!

This set comes with three roof variants and three entrances (two of each pictured here), optional floors and ten ring designs that connect with OpenLOCK clips. The modules are all interchangeable, allowing you to assemble the bustling starport in which no two houses ever have to look the same! Combine these with the wall greebles and printable flags the core pledge will also include – and you’re looking at some truly epic table for the battles set in a galaxy far away!
