Rival Pack: The Viking vs Barricade 2.0 – €35,00

Due to their involvement with the hugely unpopular Hobgoblins, towering Hulks have never really found many supporters within DreadBall. The Viking is a former Rallion Roses player that was given a makeover by the DGB marketing ‘experts’. Dressed as a Viking from Old Earth, he has finally found an audience willing to embrace him. Although he doesn’t have a clue what a Viking is, or even what Earth was, he’s pleased the crowd have at least stopped throwing things at him and booing all the time.

The original Barricade was demolished following a spectacularly bad DreadBall season in which many speculated it must be malfunctioning. Barricade was left in the scrap heap until Joshua Zizz, the grandson of original creator Josiah Zizz, was forced to build Barricade 2.0 when he ran into debt with a mysterious crime lord known only as ‘Blaine’. Barricade 2.0 is now dedicated to playing OverDrive while Joshua repays his debts. According to some media reports, Joshua should be able to retire Barricade 2.0 in…. 7,856 Earth years.

Plague Infection Starter – €35,00

When the Plague attacks a corporate outpost or installation, the most fortunate victims are the ones killed outright in the assault. Those that are not, that are instead infected by the Plague, find themselves transformed and remade. Their souls and personalities are lost, subsumed to the aims and ambitions of the Plague itself. These are its foot soldiers, numerous and cheap, doomed and expendable.

Plague Outbreak Booster – €35,00

A Plague infection can rapidly spread throughout a population centre, converting or killing without any apparent prejudice or preference. Some victims will become Stage 3 forms, retaining a modicum of intelligence alongside the savage destructiveness the Plague imparts. Most, however, appear to lose even that last piece of their humanity and devolve into shambling wretches, a kind of cannibalistic ‘herd’, seemingly incapable of anything but the most basic motor functions – move, kill, and consume.

Plague Mutation Booster – €35,00

Stage 1 hosts are brutes and undeniably powerful. Many Enforcer commanders refer to these creatures as Plague Lords, reflective of their obvious command and control of the monstrous Plague armies rampaging ahead of them. Humans are of course not the only race susceptible to infection, but Teratons are a particularly threatening vector. How exactly the infection affects their brain chemistry is unclear – ETCU scientists barely understand the changes wrought on human victims.

Plague Leapers – €30,00

Second generation infected are a stunningly brutal mix of power, speed, and aggression. Post-mortem exams of specimens brought down in Containment Protocol enforcements have revealed a massive increase in muscle fibre density alongside the basic increase in bulk making them disproportionately strong and explaining the ability of such a large creature to ‘leap’ across a battlefield.

Plague Corruption – €20,00

Bigger than a Plague Lord and more powerful than an Aberration, the hulking creature known as a Corruption is a rare and terrifying sight. Four, thick arms ripple with muscle under shifting flesh, each ending in a boulder-like fist. Its lower jaw can dislocate and split into two – allowing it to swallow most victims whole. Along its back, a hard carapace is topped with wicked-looking spikes of bone. And like a Plague Lord, it has the intelligence to command.

Salamander Corsairs Troop – €30,00

These independent, buccaneering crews have become renowned for their lightning raids and disruptive actions on smugglers, pirates, and slavers alike. Salamander Lekelidon – €18,00

The Lekelidons are giant spitting lizards with spiky tempers and are prodded into battle by their Salamander handlers. In rare cases, and if captured young enough, juvenile Lekelidons have the brains to be trained to operate semi-autonomously, although often with mixed results.

Halfing Muster Captain on Aralez – €15,00
