GW: Weihnachtsboxen für 40k und AoS

Pünktlich zu Weihnachtseinkäufen stellt Games Workshop die diesjährigen Battleforce Boxen vor, sowohl  die ferne Zukunft von Warhammer 40.000, wie auch die Reiche der Sterblichen von Warhammer Age of Sigmar erzittern unter dem Ansturm von mächtigen Streitkräften.

Warhammer 40,000 Battleforces – Praise the Emperor This Christmas With Eight Incredible Boxes

Somehow, it’s happened again – Christmas is nearly here. It’s time for the greatest gift possible – Yuletide cheer and festive spirit. Or even better, massive Battleforce boxes full of Warhammer 40,000 goodies.

Adepta Sororitas – Sanctorum Guard

Morvenn Vahl was never content with helming the Sisters of Battle from the safety of Holy Terra, and this Battleforce puts her at the head of a suitably zealous force of crusading Sororitas, out to punish those on the God-Emperor’s naughty list. Backing her up are six mighty Paragon Warsuits and five elite Celestian Sacresants with unbreakable shields. No Sororitas force is complete without a Battle Sisters Squad (which can also be built as Celestians or Dominions) for holding the line while warsuited battle nuns unleash hell.

Adeptus Custodes – Watchers of The Gate

The Adeptus Custodes are the most magnificent of the Emperor’s warriors, sworn to protect the Throneworld from rebels, invaders, and anyone looking to open their presents early. This Battleforce puts the peerless Captain-General Trajann Valoris at the head of a powerful cadre comprising three Vertus Praetors on Dawneagle Jetbikes (which can also build a Shield Captain) and three indomitable Allarus Custodians (which can also build a Shield-Captain and a Vexilus Praetor). The bulk of this unbreakable force is made up of 15 Custodian Guard, which also have options to build Shield Captains and Vexilus Praetors.

Adeptus Mechanicus – Elimination Maniple

When it’s not enough to simply destroy a foe, the Elimination Maniples of the Adeptus Mechanicus sally forth from Mars to obliterate them entirely. This force is commanded under the watchful eyes, sensor arrays, and all-purpose noospherics of Belisarius Cawl. It also contains a pair of deadly Kastelan Robots and their Cybernetica Datasmith handler, six Kataphron Destroyers (or Breachers) that can be armed with a variety of heinous weapons, and a unit of Skitarii Vanguard which can be built as Skitarii Rangers.

Imperial Knights – Chainbreaker Lance

Dubbed ‘Chainbreaker’ for freeing countless slaves from the Iron Warriors – rather than his hatred of Christmas decorations – the Imperial Knight Sir Hekhtur leads a devastating lance of noble war machines across the galaxy. The Chainbreaker Lance is led by the Knight Preceptor Canis Rex (which can also be built as any other Questoris-class Knight, and which comes with a pilot), mentoring swift scout-Knights known as Armigers. The Battleforce includes two ranged Helverins and two close-range Warglaives, piloted by lower-ranking Nobles.

Death Guard – Council of The Death Lord

Mortarion, Daemon Primarch of Nurgle, relishes every opportunity to spread seasonal sniffles on the battlefield. A Battleforce of bloated retainers follow in his foetid wake – five Blightlord Terminators present an immovable block of ancient and diseased terminator armour, while 14 Plague Marines march with unstoppable purpose and an arsenal of special weapons.

Thousand Sons – Court of The Crimson King

If the limitless possibilities and arcane mysteries of a Secret Santa are more to your liking, look no further than Tzeentch’s little helper. Magnus the Red leads a Battleforce of sorcerous might, accompanied by three Exalted Sorcerers – wicked arcanists who have stalked the galaxy since before the Horus Heresy. Ahead of them are 20 Rubric Marines, living husks of power armour enchanted with infernal warpfire.

Imperial Fists – Bastion Strike Force

The unyielding Imperial Fists have mustered an immovable block of yellow commanded by Tor Garadon, the Chapter’s longest-serving Battle Company Captain. This Battleforce features three Primaris Aggressors, walking fortresses of ceramite, with 15 Heavy Intercessors clad in impervious Gravis armour. You’ll also get a set of Imperial Fists Primaris Upgrades and Transfers to mark your force out as the true sons of Dorn.

Raven Guard – Ravenstrike Battleforce

The Raven Guard favour lightning strikes, and therefore make extensive use of the streamlined Phobos armour – perfect for grabbing the last turkey and making a swift getaway. Chapter Master Kayvaan Shrike leads this strike force from the front, supported by a Librarian in Phobos Armour.

They’re joined by 10 Primaris Reivers, two Invictor Tactical Warsuits, and three Eliminators for good measure. This set also contains three Raven Guard transfer sheets for that custom touch.

Treat Yourself This Christmas With a Choice of Seven Warhammer Age of Sigmar Battleforces

Christmas is coming. We’ve already seen this year’s new Warhammer 40,000 Battleforces, and it’s time to see what’s inside the Warhammer Age of Sigmar sets. Whichever Grand Alliance you’re a fan of, there’s a box for you.

Daughters of Khaine: Khainite Slaughter-Coven

Celebrate Christmas alongside Morathi’s apotheosis by unleashing an army of bloodthirsty aelves. The Slaughter-Coven is made up of a Slaughter Queen on Cauldron of Blood (which can alternatively be built as a Bloodwrack Shrine or a Hag Queen on Cauldron of Blood), five Melusai Blood Sisters (who can be built as Blood Stalkers), five Khinerai Heartrenders (who can be built as Lifetakers), five Doomfire Warlocks, and 10 Witch Aelves (who can be built as Sisters of Slaughter), which gives you enough options to spill blood any way you like.

Orruk Warclans: Kruleboyz Swamp-Lurkers

This Battleforce includes two legendary heroes – Swampboss Skumdrekk and Gobsprakk, the Mouth of Mork (who can also be built as a Snatchaboss on Sludgeraker Beast and Killaboss on Corpse-rippa Vulcha, respectively). They’re leading three Man-Skewer Boltboyz and 10 Gutrippaz. Whether you like to get up close and personal or sit back and shoot, you’ll be dishing out loads of mortal wounds thanks to the Kruleboyz’ venom-encrusted weapons.

Gloomspite Gitz: Stampeding Squigalanche

What’s the most Christmassy sound? Jingle bells? Da Red Gobbo sneaking down the chimney? Nah, it’s a bunch of squigs all going booooooing! The Squiqalanche consists of a Loonboss on Giant Cave Squig, two Mangler Squigs(who can be ridden by Loonbosses), 10 Squig Hoppers (who can be assembled as Boingrot Bounders), and a 12-strong Squig Herd. Don’t let their randomness fool you – there’s a LOT of gnashing teef in this army.

Skaven: The Verminous Host

Praise be to the Horned Rat, who has sent his children to overwhelm any that would stand in their way, and probably steal their presents, too. This new Battleforce rings in Christmas with a Grey Seer on Screaming Bell(which can also be built as a Plague Priest on Plague Furnace), a Warlock Bombardier, three Stormfiends, a whopping 40 Clanrats, and 40 Plague Monks. Tie your enemies down with expendable troops before finishing them off with the mighty Stormfiends – a perfect plan, yes-yes!

Nighthaunt: Legion Of Grief

You won’t feel any grief if you pick up this box, which is packed with enough ethereal spirits to haunt the Mortal Realms in the names of Christmas past, present, and Christmas yet to come. Inside, you’ll find Lady Olynder, Mortarch of Grief, a Black Coach, 10 Bladeghast Revenants, 10 Dreadscythe Harridans, and 10 Grimghast Reapers. While you’re out dominating the Realms with this powerful army, don’t forget to send us a ghostcard.

Sylvaneth: Revenant Wargrove

From the spectres of Death to the guardians of Life, the Revenant Wargrove box includes a whole army of very angry Christmas trees. Drycha Hamadreth leads two Treelords (which can alternatively be built as a Spirit of Durthuor a Treelord Ancient), 10 Spite-Revenants (which can be built as Tree-Revenants), and 16 Sylvaneth Dryads. You’ll be putting so much smack down on your enemies, they’ll be desperate to sign a treety.

Stormcast Eternals: Thunderstrike Spearhead

Finally, it’s not Christmas without the golden-clad warriors of the God-King! Start your own Dawnbringer Crusadewith a Knight-Relictor, three heavily armed Annihilators,  10 Vanquishers, and 10 Vigilors armed with stormcaller bows. Finally, there’s a pair of swift and deadly Stormdrake Guards (one of which can alternately be built as a Knight-Draconis).
