Next week sees a ton of incredible new terrain for Warhammer 40,000 and a new Battlebox for Warhammer Age of Sigmar go on pre-order.

Arena of Shades

Next week will be a big week for fans of the letters ‘A’, ‘O’, and ‘S’, as the Arena of Shades Battlebox for Warhammer Age of Sigmar goes on pre-order.

The box includes two armies – the spectral Nighthaunt and the brutal Daughters of Khaine. Along with a selection of units that make an ideal starting army or reinforcements to an existing one, there are new models for both factions – the Scriptor Mortis and Craventhrone Guard for the Nighthaunt and the High Gladiatrix for the Daughters of Khaine.

Along with the miniatures, the box includes tokens, warscroll cards, and a Core Rules book containing the rules you need to play Warhammer Age of Sigmar. There’s also a campaign booklet that features loads of narrative content and three Battleplans to determine which of these armies will come out on top in the battle for Har Kuron.

You can also get the kits from the box separately. First up is the STC Hab-Bunker and Stockades kit – this bunker acts as an ideal headquarters for a stronghold, while the new stockades can be assembled in multiple ways to create a perimeter that any enemy will struggle to break through.

Battlezone: Fronteris – Landing Pad

Continue your expansion onto new worlds with the Landing Pad. It’s the source of transportation for a Fronteris base, helping to maintain the flow of supplies and reinforcements to the sharp edge of the Imperium.

Finish off your outpost with a Vox-Antenna and Auspex Shrine. These large structures act as vital communication nodes and make great objectives to defend (or destroy!) in your games.

Set your games in an arid frontier setting with these moody new gaming boards. When put together, they make a battlefield that’s the perfect size for a 1,000 point game of Warhammer 40,000. With more sets, you can create the sprawling battlefield of your dreams.

Made to Order Aeldari

Hot on the heels of the new Aeldari codex and the stunning likes of the Dark Reapers and Avatar of Khaine, comes a selection of classic Aeldari kits available on a Made to Order basis. Autarchs are superlative strategists and martial experts who are ideal leaders for an Aeldari force, and their updated datasheet lets you field these miniatures in your games.

Farseers are master psykers, able to unleash a torrent of psychic attacks upon their enemies.

Finally, you can add to your Harlequins army with a classic Shadowseer, Death Jester, and Troupe.

All these classic miniatures are a great way to add variety and character to an Aeldari army on the tabletop, and they also work as fascinating painting projects. And, of course, it’s an opportunity to add models you may have missed to your collection.
