Immerse yourself in the age of samurai by helping us unearth a new set of Sengoku Era-specific miniatures that are perfect for all sorts of samurai-themed wargames and board games!
Multi-component to allow you to assemble the models in the most different poses, and in hard plastic easy to glue and modify.
They will be the most detailed samurai war miniatures, easy to paint for beginners or perfect for putting your painting skills to the test.
The boxed sets in plastic that we will create with this campaign will be:
Commanders: a box to assemble the officers and commanders for your ashigaru and samurai units, full of accessories to customize them between different banners and pieces to build typical diorama scenes
Ashigaru Warriors: containing everything you need to assemble Ashigaru with Nogae Yari (pikemen) and/or Naginata (pole weapon)
Ashigaru shooters: containing everything you need to assemble Ashigaru with Teppou (gunners) and/or Yumi (bowmen)
Samurai Warriors: containing everything you need to assemble Samurai with Yari (spearmen), with Naginata (pole weapon) and/or Katana (swordsmen)
Samurai Shooter: containing everything you need to assemble Samurai with Teppou (gunners) and/or Yumi (bowmen)
Mounted Samurai: containing everything you need to assemble Mounted Samurai withYari (lancers), Katana (sword) and/or Yumi (horse archers)

The estimated delivery date of products made through this campaign is June 2023. We have chosen this date considering any possible delay in production. Risks and challenges
THE COMPANY Fireforge Games is an Italian manufacturer of figures for tabletop games. Our work began in 2011 with the production of multi-part plastic and resin figures for historical, medieval, wargames with the intention to release the best figures possible. Our company strives to release high-quality products, focusing on aesthetic poses, accurate details and numerous choices for customers to assemble our figures. Fireforge has a long and proven relationship with our customers. We sell our products anywhere in the world and our policy is that we are hobbyists before merchants. Customers can always count on the support of our company for any problems or mistakes with Fireforge’s products. We readily listen to customer feedback and requests.
THE PRODUCT Figures shown in this campaign will be produced in the EU Community. Figures can suffer small changes in case of production needs.
REFUND POLICY Fireforge Games is able to refund backers within 14 days of the campaign’s end, fees included. A refund request after this period will only be processed through PayPal. In this case we will refund the amount paid deducting Kickstarter’s fees. No refund will be possible anymore from when our company will inform the backers with a project’s update that will start to package the pledges.
POST PLEDGE CAMPAIGN REFUNDS After the end of the campaign, Fireforge Games will use a third-part service to help in additional purchases and processing orders. Refunds for additional transactions made through this third-part service can only be processed within 60 days from the transaction’s day. Fireforge can only send the refund to the card or account used for the transaction to be refunded. Note: This project is being funded in EURO and any refund processed will be in EURO for the exact amount received in EURO, excluding any applicable fees depending on the time of the refund being processed.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS At the end of the campaign we will ask, by Kickstarter or a third-part service, your billing and shipping details and your phone number to help with a successful delivery. These informations are necessary to send you the products of your pledge. Without any answer to this request for informations, we will not send the products and we will not take responsibility for any delay in sending your order. Under your request, we will be able to change the address for the shipment of your pledge until the announcement that we will start to package the products. We also will accept replacement requests in the case of missing or damaged products until two months after you received the tracking and shipping e-mail. If you do not accept these terms, please do not pledge on this project and instead wait for the official release.

Diese Infos sollte man bei einem Vergleich zumindest erwähnen. 🙂
Für mich wäre die Fireforge-Range definitiv die attraktivste Wahl, da ich Metall bei Massenarmeen nicht mag und die Plastikmodelle von Warlord ziemlich mau finde.
Nur, um zu sehen, ob ich die These richtig verstanden habe…
Wir reden von einer Range, die es aus Kunststoff bisher nur einmal gibt. In schlecht. Für eine Epoche und ein Setting, dass sich international durchaus einiger Beliebtheit erfreut.
Und das wird eurer Meinung nach nicht funktionieren, weil es die Modelle schon aus Metall gibt?
Mit der Begründung hätte Victrix gar nicht erst anfangen beauchen, in den Markt einzusteigen. Kunststoff-Napo und Hopliten gab es schließlich schon, als die loslegten. Sowohl in schön aus Metall, als auch in besser aus Kunststoff und wer hat sich durchgesetzt?

Wenn man das historische Setting nimmt, dann ist die Napoleonische Epoche und Antike (Griechen und Römer) aber wohl durchaus beliebter, als die Samurai der Sengoku Zeit! Bedeutet, Victrix‘ Einstieg war vor allem wegen der großen Beliebtheit eher risikoarm, denn gute und günstige Plastikmodelle werden halt trotzdem gekauft, auch wenn es schon genug Anbieter gibt.
Ich hoffe, dass Fireforge Erfolg hat und wir gute Samurai in Plastik bekommen. Die werden dann meine Perrys und Warlord Mordelle ergänzen (die ich nicht ersetzen werde, weil quasi kein einziges Modell „nur“ aus der Box gebaut wurde, sondern alle modifiziert wurden).
Die Antike als ganzes sicher, aber die klassischen Griechen? Erfahrungsgemäß sind die frühimperialen Römer das Ding in der Epoche. Danach kommen vermutlich Kelten und dann andere Römer und entsprechende Gegner.
Bei Napo ist das sicher richtig, da hat Victrix aber vor allem mit einer sehr sinnvollen Struktur der Gussrahmen und echter Masse zu einem günstigen Preis geschafft. Qualitativ lagen die da noch deutlich hinter der Konkurrenz.
Bei den Griechen war es ja komplett irre. Da hatten sie die schlechteren Modelle, waren nicht preiswerter, haben sich aber trotzdem durchgesetzt.
Kensei hat tolle Modelle mit dünnsten Waffen etc. für Vitrine super aber zum Warhammern etc. finde ich die viel zu filigran, leider 😧
Bei 24 Minis für 30€ anstatt 20 für 29€ da finde ich billiger ein schwieriges Argument. Made in Europa gehört für mich auch dazu. 🤔
Also für mich passt das alles gut!
Ich habe mich gegen Perry entschieden, weil ich die nicht so schön fand und auch zu teuer für Masse. Kensei hat schöne Figuren und ich auch einige davon. Aber die sind teuer und aus Metall, was zu einigen verbogenen Waffen geführt hat. Dann habe ich noch Titan Forge, die auch schön aussehen, aber mit ihrem brüchigen Resin und zu wenigen verschiedenen Posen auch nicht ideal sind. Und dann habe ich noch Warlord bzw den Vorgänger. Die sind günstig und bieten etwas Abwechslung, sind aber jetzt nicht so detailliert und ich habe keine Lust gehabt denen Katana oder Yaris von maximal 1mm Dicke in die Hand zu geben…
P.S. Nie hat sich mein Brückenkopf-Nickname passender angefühlt als bei diesem Post.

Habe schon länger auf den gewartet. Da ich die Modelle lediglich als Umbaubasis für meine Khandarmee brauche, scheinen sie mir die beste Variante zu sein. Werden dann durch die von Warlord ergänzt.
Was mich etwas stört, ist, dass der Kickstarterpreis der Boxen leider so angesetzt ist, dass man mit Versand im Grunde nichts gegenüber dem späteren Preis im Handel spart und schlimmstenfalls sogar drauf zahlt, wenn Händler Rabatte anbieten. Ich schätze, damit ist das wohl noch ein klassischer Kickstarter, da die Gefahr besteht, dass sie gar nicht erst in den Handel kommen, wenn man ihnen den Schub nicht gibt. Auch etwas bedauerlich, dass sie mit den Reitern und Mönchen schon Werbung machen, obwohl die erst recht spät freigeschaltet werden.
Ich habe das so verstanden, dass die Reiter und Mönche auf jeden Fall kommen, wenn die Kampagne erfolgreich ist, aber aaus Resin, wenn die entsprechenden Summen nicht erreicht werden.
Klare Vérbesserung zu den Wargames Factory(jetzt Warlord Games)Samurai.
Man merkt halt leider das sie sich in der Epoche nicht wirklich auskennen, aber das ja oft der Fall.Ich hoffe das die Kampange gut läuft und hole mir die Boxen dann im Retail.
Großer Fan der Sohei! Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass die im Laufe des Kickstarters noch unlocked werden (ist ja schon halb da), aber man weiß ja nie.
Hoffe der KS kommt dann auch auf die 100.000 um die Ikko-Ikki-Rebellen freizuschalten. Die Auswahl dafür ist nämlich sehr gering. Gibt zwar noch kein Preview dazu, aber ein Set aus Plastik wäre potentiell traumhaft.
Ich bin von dem Kickstarter enttäuscht. Also dafür, dass man es vorfinanziert, bekommt man kaum Rabatte und keine strechgoals umsonst. Muss alles kaufen. Die hohen Preise mit der Produktion in Europa zu erklären ist auch schwach, da victrix ubd perrys auch in Europa produzieren und weit günstiger sind.
Und wenn es wie bei dem Kickstarter für die game of thrones angelehnten Figuren gebt, dann gute Nacht. Da gab es die Figuren schon im Laden und ich hatte die eigenen noch nicht aus dem Kickstarter erhalten und mit dem Porto war es teurer als wenn ich es aua dem Laden gekauft hätte.
3..Gefallen mir mir die Posen diesmal überhaupt nicht. Einuge erscheinen mir nicht akruat. Da bleibe ich bei den perry Zinn Miniaturen.

Kurzer Hinweis, ab dem Samurai-Pledge bekommt man alle Freebie-Stretch-Goals kostenlos dazu, sofern sie eben freigeschaltet werden.
Und welche Freebies wären das? Ich sehe nur einen Gußrahmen ab 75K und einen ab 95K. Nehme ich die früheren Boxen im Vergleich kosten die im Handel 20% weniger wie hier im KS mit Versand und werden dort vermutlich früher verfügbar sein.
