Hello Sci-fi 3D Printing Community! I am a Vancouver based Animator more commonly known as ThatEvilOne in 3D printing circles and this is my Forth Crowdfunding after the very successful Roma Ad Astra and Lunar Auxilia Projects. I’ll be using this and furture MyMiniFactory Frontiers as explorations of new styles, techniques and workflows that don’t yet fit in with the usual ThatEvilOne Kickstarter design language. You could say they’re a way for me to push the frontiers of my ability ;D. Bad puns aside this project has truely borne fruit and I can not wait to see your own Raiding Parties take the table!

I’ll be taking your suggestions and feedback and incorporating them into the project when releasing more models, and on future projects. I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the styles, designs and concepts!

ELVEN CORSAIRS; Survivors of the Fall is a Frontier that will explore the disparate scavengers and groups eking out in a galaxy when The Great Elven Empire has succumb to it’s own hubris. Trillions of elves died in those first days and weeks, to the hands of men, orks or other eldritch forces. Only scattered bands of survivors now ply the void, sustaining themselves on a combination of half understood Elven Technology and looted equipment from the lesser races.

WHAT DO I RECEIVE

Every sculpt I make will be exported as a high fidelity Presupported STL file, that you can print at home with resin 3D printers. My Goal is to provide you the ability to muster a RPG Character, a Raiding Party or an Army that could Raze an entire World that your friends and local gaming group has never seen before. Something you can truly feel proud of setting on the table or display self. The files I’ll provide are for personal use. Sharing Links and STLs is extremely prohibited (check the rules at the end of the this page).

Depending on your pledge point you will be eligible for the Infantries and/or Vehicles. All Files will be provided via MyMiniFactory in both Unsupported and Presupported STLs.

WHY BACK ELVEN CORSAIRS

If you enjoy 3D printing and collecting miniatures as much as I love to make the rigs and pose them then this is definitely the Kickstarter for you. With every Stretch Goal already sculpted ready to go the more successful you are the better the value you receive! But fret not, in the unlikely chance that we don’t unlock everything over these next three weeks, the models will move to the MyMiniFactory store a week after the campaign is done for you to pick up as you please.

Stretch Goals:

Elven Corsairs feature a number of presculpted stretch goals. As the campaign grows more and more units and items will be unlocked and added to the reward backers receive at the end of the campaign. Why presculpted? Two reasons, the first is so that all of you can get you unlocked rewards as quickly as possible. The second is, though in my previous Kickstarter Campaign all goals were unlocked in the first week, there is the unlikely case we fail to bust our way through the levels. In that case, the day after the campaign all the locked goals will move to the MyMiniFactory store so that you have the chance to still get that stretch goal you really wanted but we just couldn’t hit.
