Crystallum: Conflict in the Far Future

Ein neuer Kickstarter im kleinen Maßstab sucht Unterstützer.

Wichtig: Außerhalb der USA sind nur die digitalen STLs verfügbar.

Crystallum Conflict In The Far Future 1

Crystallum is a miniatures game designed for use with a variety of micro-scale miniatures. Players will command platoons of soldiers, tanks, aerial and support assets all to secure vital objectives on the battlefield and eliminate all enemy resistance. Crystallum offers a fast-paced and dynamic miniatures game all taking place in a strange and transformed version of Earth.

On release, the game will offer four unique factions and over 50 units to command throughout the wasteland. This project is to fund the start of the miniature ranges for the Vlast and Federation of Columbia factions.

Crystallum Conflict In The Far Future 2

Crystallum takes place over 100 years after a distant disaster scours the surface of Earth and leaves it both changed and corrupted by the mysterious Crystallum. Decades after almost total annihilation, humanity claws itself up from the ashes to establish the new empires. Massive conglomerates of city-states and almost forgotten past nations, the new empires push ever outwards, attempting to claim as much territory and resources for their people. Amongst this new age of war and struggle, the Crystallum itself revealed itself as a sentient psychic force, raising its own armies of horrific monsters to push back against the new empires and reclaim the Earth for themselves.

Crystallum Conflict In The Far Future 3

Thanks to the discovery of the Crystallum and its invaluable use as an energy source, military and civilian technology have seen rapid innovation over the decades. Battles in the wastes are still fought with infantry and vehicles, however, these soldiers now wield destructive laser rifles, disruptor cannons, and plasma blasters. Familiar vehicles from humanity’s past now mount rail guns, particle cannons, and rocket clusters. The new empires have sought to push their dominance throughout the wastes and their enemies, as well as the hordes of Crystallum monsters, are countless. Should players wish to take control of one of the empire’s armies or a group of twisted Crystallum beasts, they will have a host of destructive and wondrous weapons and vehicles to command.

Federation of Columbia

The Federation represents the last vestiges of the old US government. Clinging to the east coast of the now sundered and divided United States, the Federation has claimed the city of New York as its capital. Utilizing strange and arcane Crystallum devices discovered deep within the city’s underground, the Federation has become one of the most powerful empires in the western world. Setting out first to re-colonize what remains of the American continent, the Federation soon turns its attention to Europe.

Union of Vlast

The Vlast are not a centralized body as many would suspect, but rather a collection of towering, rolling seed colonies formed from royal decrees written centuries prior. Digging deep into the pre-war weapon stores, and discovering the might and technology of another long dead empire, the Vlast slowly move across the wastes, their colony cities devouring any resources they come across, and crushing any resistance along the way.

The Atlantic Council

A united front forming around the old European Union, the Council has fortified its holdings utilizing the Crystallum to create refined and wondrous weapons. The Council’s technology has shown itself to be far superior to those utilized by the other empires. Despite this competitive edge, the Council has hidden themselves away from the world, until the coming of the Crystallum Hordes and the advancement of the other human nations forced their hand.

The Crystallum Hordes

A stark contrast to the established nations, the Crystallum Hordes are the masses of creatures and infected pieces of technology spawned by the cursed intelligence that inhabits the Crystallum strains. These twisted creatures march forward towards the walls of the human civilizations to spread their infection among the populace and grow the ever hungering horde.
