CABINETS: THE STORY
Many hobbyists will be familiar with the problem: models laying around the room in boxes, on shelves, hidden away in cabinets, or perhaps placed into a poorly lit display.
If we spend hours painting the perfect model/army, why not display it proudly? Why is it so difficult to find purpose-built display solutions for miniatures, that seamlessly blend into the rest of the room?
And thus, the Artis Opus display cabinet was born.

Cabinet Sizing Information
Our cabinets are designed with ideal lighting in mind. Extremely large cases result in worse lighting for miniatures, therefore a modular solution that consists of several cabinets is ideal (and we think it looks way more interesting anyway).
The cabinets come in 10 standard sizes:

FAQ
How are they made?
Our cabinets are hand-crafted crafted on-site in our production workshop in Manchester, UK, by fully trained, full-time staff.
Do cabinets ship worldwide?
Yes!
Do they require assembly?
Cabinets come needing only a back-panel screwing on!
How tough are they?
Far tougher than you should ever need! We’ve designed and engineered extremely durable products, they’ll withstand any drops, knocks or daily wear and tear you can throw their way.
Can they be wall-mounted, how, are they secure?
Heavy-duty screws run through the walls of the cabinet, into wall-fixings (all provided), this is all accessible from the front of the cabinets, and hidden behind the front frames.
How should I arrange them?
Wall-mounted:
However you like! Cabinets are provided with a full-sized printout of our standard ‘cluster’, this included handy guides for fixings, and level-lines to ensure you get things right first time!
If you want to be creative we encourage you to cut up your print-out, and stick it to the wall in different formations, to work out the best use of the space you have available!
Free-standing:
However you like!
Can you buy more shelves?
Yes!
Is there a door?
Yes, nearly all photos are cabinets with their doors on.
How do cabinets close? I can’t see hinges.
Our cabinets have high-grade magnets to hold their doors in place, we have more secure options (hinges, locks) for public places, and curious little-ones 😊.
Will my miniatures be protected from dust?
Absolutely! Cabinets are fully-sealed.
Do cabinets come with lighting?
They do, a pre-fitted lighting strip is embedded into the frame, facing inwards (towards your minis).
Can they be customised?
Yes!
Frames (door) can be veneered in a selection of wood-finishes, to match you style, preferences, or surrounding furnishings.
The back-panel comes in plain wood, and is two-sided/reversible, we encourage experimentation and customisation (additional panels will be available separately.
In addition back-panels come in mirrored gloss-black, mirror, smoked mirror.
How deep are cabinets, can they hold my big minis?
Cabinets start at 85mm internal depth, this can be increased by 36mm, 72mm, or 108mm.
Are they battery powered?
Our cabinets are mains-powered, each can be easily linked to the other, using a single source-plug (up to 10 from the same plug).
Can I buy individual cabinets, as well as sets?
Yes, all cabinets can be bought individually 😊.
How secure is the carry case?
Ridiculously secure, you’ll understand how over the top the durability is when you receive it. You can take additional steps, such as bolting your miniature through the tray, if you want to be prepared for natural disasters!
