Tiny Furniture: Sitting Folks Kickstarter
SITTING FOLKS
High-Quality Resin Miniatures in Sitting Poses
The adventurers, drenched in a severe thunderstorm, finally made it to the nearest town. They immediately headed to the tavern, where they dreamed of having a hearty meal, drying their clothes, and settling down for the night. The noise of visitors and the brightly lit windows of the „Tiny Moth“ tavern were a good beacon for the whole team…
This is how many board RPG adventures begin. The game master builds a tavern on a table made of special modules, dress it with miniature furniture (possibly by Tiny Furniture), arranges figures of key characters.
And now, in order to finally impress the players, the GM needs to fill this tavern with common people, NPCs, to create the real effect of a noisy, crowded place.
Gamblers stand at the tables, townspeople stand eating their supper, drinkers stand by the bar stools, hunters stand after an exhausting hunt, a mighty noble stands as he receives his audience, monks stand copying scrolls, and adventurers stand in a mighty fighting stance in the middle of the tavern.
Doesn’t anybody’s feet hurt?
GMs frequently have an aesthetic desire for sitting figures in a tavern or town environment. But most are posed standing. This is what Tiny Furniture intends to fix in our new „Sitting Folks“ Kickstarter! With this campaign, we want to create and release a wide range of seated characters and furniture for them.
All the „Sitting Folks“ resin miniatures made by Tiny Furniture will be in the popular 28-32mm scale but in this campaign .STL files are also on offer which can be easily resized and printed in the scale you need.
These minis are ideal for use in sword and sorcery roleplaying games and medieval dioramas.
We have three types of rewards on offer:
- Unpainted Resin Sets – You will get an unpainted set of sitting miniatures and furnishings cast in high-quality resin.
- Painted Resin Sets – You will get a fully painted set of miniatures and furnishings cast in high-quality resin. All painting is done with acrylic paints by professional artists (check the quality of their work below). Painted sets will be delivered 8-10 months after the campaign is over. Great art takes time!
- .STL files for printer owners – You will get a link to download .STL’s fully adapted for printing on SLA printers. All models will be provided pre-supported. You can download the test model for free https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-sitting-medieval-villager-195037
Each Core Set comes with the basic furniture set: a table without food and two benches or three chairs. The default furniture sets can be changed a bit for the different Core Sets.
*The final models may differ from the sketches below.
Pledges:
„RESIN“ – the basic pledge levels for backers who want to get the unpainted miniatures hand-cast in high-quality resin.
If you wish to get the painted versions of the miniatures, please check the „BRUSH“ levels below.
Here is an example of the painted core set with the table from the add-on:
For backers who want to receive .STL files for self-printing, we prepared the „DIGITAL“ rewards.
All the rewards types can be combined. You can, for example, choose the unpainted Set #3, add the Painted Set #10, and also add STL files of Set #15. Just pay extra for each reward and we’ll sort it all out later in the pledge manager.
Stretch Goals:
The more successful the campaign is, the more stretch goals we unlock. Free stretch goals are available for everyone who pledges for Resin 3 (and above), Brush 4 (and above), and Ultimate Digital.
If you want more than one of each type of unlocked Stretch Goal, simply increase your pledge amount by €6 or €25 for each SG.
Add-Ons:
Add-ons are available on all pledge levels for the same extra price.
