„Sombras“: the art of Christopher Lovell is a project that will expand the world of the miniature collectors and painters, as well as bringing you a limited line of busts in 1/10 and 75mm models based on the amazing  dark fantasy work of the artist Chris Lovell… you know him right? If not, we should talk about him!!

Christopher is a UK based artist who likes to work traditionally in the genre of Dark Fantasy. Growing up in the 80s and 90s with a heavy interest in Games Workshop, Fighting Fantasy books and Anime, Christopher found himself very inspired to create his own visions and pursue a career in art which saw him starting out as a merch designer for bands and clothing lines. This helped get his artwork and name seen by many across the World and garner a rapidly growing fanbase. Christophers work in recent years has taken a more personal direction with his “Dark Nature” series of works, where he can explore his own visions and characters with a creative freedom that resonates with is audience. Christopher is currently working hard on building a collection of paintings for future exhibitions and involved in some exciting collaborations with Magic the Gathering and D&D.

We’ve chosen eight main works of Chris to bring to life in miniatures, but this isn’t all!  We have many cool surprises prepared should you help us bring this dream to life.

These miniatures have been sculpted and painted by an amazing team of proffessional sculptors and painters, lead by Alex Varela from Iguazzu Studio and Jesús Martín from Nocturna Models! And what is more, they will be manufactured by the talented team of Scale75 by the master hands of Petre Negut. As you can see, it’s a dream team for all the miniature producers!

We have learned a lot from the personal advice of the Nocturna Models crew and our own previous knowledge of the industry. So we invite you to join us in this journey of discovery throughout the Dark Fantasy and its amazing cast of unique characters.

This campaign is a short journey, but full of surprises such as miniatures , extra gifts, and more!

All of the project will be Kickstarter exclusive, so those of you who choose to support us will be able to proudly show it through unique miniatures that won’t be produced anymore!

Are you interested in additional items? Here you can add to the rewards that correspond to your pledge level. To select an add-on, simply add its cost in euros to the total amount of your pledge. At the end of the campaign, we will send you an invitation to a pledge manager where you will be able to specify exactly which add-ons are you interested in.

Versand:

Due to the nature of this campaign (you can pretty much pick and choose exactly what miniatures you want to receive), we know shipping costs will probably vary a lot from one backer to another.

We want to be fair to all of you, rather than overcharge some and undercharge others, so we will collect funds for the actual shipping costs from each of you after the campaign ends through our pledge manager.

All rewards will be lovingly hand packed by us at our studio in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, and ship via the Spanish postal service using a tracked service. Find below the approximate shipping costs of each pledge to the most common regions.

Do NOT add shipping costs while pledging! You will be able to choose the best shipping option for you in the Pledge Manager once the campaign is over!

Our studio is located in  Spain; and since we will manufacture and ship all of your rewards from here, you won’t have to pay any custom charges if you are in the EU. However, we cannot control any of the possible customs expenses of any other world zone.

About Covid. Due to the global situation we are experiencing, some shipments may be delayed. From Reina Roja we will do everything possible so that this does not happen. But if so, we ask the backers for patience.

About Brexit. Due to the current situation between the EU and the UK, you may experience delays due to customs controls. This is out of our control although we will do everything possible to prevent it from happening. But if so, we ask backers for patience.
