Our Weekend Teaser for the first week of June…

Woot? Two new project announcements in a week, all FRENCH related. The first one being the Renault FT, a World War One veteran who also saw service in World War Two. Our second announcement is also a top contender on our Wish List… the M24 Chaffee.

The M24 Chaffee was used towards the end of WW2, and later in the Korean War. It was also used by the French in the War in Algeria and the First Indochina War (Vietnam). Some former and US Chaffees are known to have passed down to the Army of South Vietnam (ARVN) where they saw service at least until the Battle of Huế, with several as fixed gun emplacements outside vital military installations, such as airbases. M24 was also used in the British service where it got its service name, Chaffee. Enjoy!
