Back in 2016 when we first started Ouroboros, I had the idea to do some themed knights. Amongts them were Sun & Moon and I just knew I wanted to do them first.

Being a big fan of Alex Boca’s work, I reached out to him and was very happy that he was interested in working with us. He quickly went to work and the result of Sun is below.

Alex’s work is very detailed and brimming with character. He made Sun look exactly how I had first envisioned him.

The Sun Knight raises his sword in salute to his deity, the sun and the design carries many aspects of his master. The result was this very thematic and strong figure!

When we first thought of the Sun Knight, we knew we also wanted his counterpart and that it had to have a moon theme. Thus Moon was born.

Alex Boca started her shortly after he finished Sun and the result was just breathtaking! The pose resembles her making the shape of a full moon and her armour is just riddled with fine details full of moon symbolism.

We think they make a fine pair indeed!

Sun & Moon renders

So it’s finally time to reveal the sculpt of Sun in it’s full glory! Alessandro Depaoli created a masterpiece and the results are stunning to say the least!!
