Von Warlord Games gibt es zwei neue Einheiten für Mythic Americas.
Mythic Americas: Eagle Warriors with bows – 30,00€
Moving with lightning speed like the birds of prey whose name they bear, the Eagle Warriors launch a withering volley of deadly shots at the enemy before racing away. Their ability to rapidly move and reposition to strike before swooping off again allows them to harass the enemy, disrupting their attacks and leaving cold corpses in their wake.
This box contains ten Eagle Warriors armed with bows, the default weapon for the unit in Mythic Americas.
Mythic Americas: Jaguar Warriors with spears – 30,00€
Jaguar Warriors are the elite Aztec fighters that dress in distinctive jaguar colours, hoping the animal’s strength and ferocity will flow through them in battle. To honour the gods, they aim to capture their enemies for later sacrifice, considering killing to be a clumsy waste.
This box contains ten Jaguar Warriors armed with spears. Spears are versatile weapons – effective in close combat, they can also be thrown during a missile exchange.

Also die Jaguar Warriors sehen aus als wären sie aus der Übernachtungsparty eines Fünfjährigen ausgebrochen. Das sind doch ganz klar Schlafanzüge und keine Jaguarfelle. Oder versteh ich hier den Witz nicht? 😀
Ich glaube damals waren die modischen Geschmäcker wohl einfach anders. Soweit ich weiß ist das ‚historisch Korrekt‘ so.
Deckt sich auch mit meinem (extrem Oberflächlichen) Wissen.
Hab mal ein bisschen gegoogelt, scheint tatsächlich eine Art Jumpsuit gewesen zu sein. Ich hatte die Darstellung im Kopf, dass es mehr ein Umhang/Cape war. Gefällt mir optisch trotzdem nicht, historisch korrekt hin oder her 😀
Musst es ja nicht unbedingt anziehen…
