Khurasan’s upcoming 15mm scale Camarasaurs. The heads, necks and tails are all interchangeable and you can actually get a whole herd out of the parts with unique poses. These were the most common sauropods of the late Jurassic period in North America, from the Morrison formation. They were a bit smaller than diplodocids but of course were still absolutely enormous animals, 3-4 times as heavy as an elephant. They’ll be released as-is, then for our Vranedonian range (reptilian Macedonians) they’ll be the war elephants. They’re so big they probably make more sense as war wagons though, using an 80mm depth. With that in mind I’ll probably make a howdah with shooters and artillery in it.Camarasaurs coming very soon, and the Vranadonians in 2022. Bases not included.
The War of the Roses models Wave 1 are in White Plains! That’s the city closest to me so I *should* have them in a few days.Meanwhile here’s another wave 2 preview, Richard III at Bosworth and Warwick after whom an Avalon Hill game was named.Richard doesn’t have his crown yet but otherwise this is him resolutely charging at Bosworth to kill Henry Tudor, who always hung back and protected himself from close combat, and sensibly so, as Richard was to find out that day. He’s the only figurine in the range with lowered lance because, well, Bosworth, gamers making it very clear they hate lowered pikes and lowered lances.Warwick was reconstructed based on descriptions of his battlefield behavior. He is said to have dismounted to lead his men at arms into position, but then remounting and observing the battle and issuing orders from a distance. If his side won he would join the pursuit on horseback, if they lost he was in prime position to get away. Thus his chaperon hat which many high commanders in the field are shown wearing instead of a clanky, vision-obscuring helmet.
I keep getting large orders for these guys from our Alien Invasion range from *one town*. Can anyone guess the town? This isn’t a joke, it’s really happening.
