Upcoming short faced bear in 15mm scale, from Khurasan Miniatures. Compare him to the American Revolutionary War Highland piper for scale! (These will be provided in different ranges of course.)

The short faced bear was at least a head taller than a large polar bear. (A bear-sized head at that!)

Update on Khurasan Miniatures’ 15mm Besieger model. As can be seen, the Besieger is fully prepared and more than able to fight a dragon that might have been summoned to defend the castle it is attacking. Flying creatures first of all have difficulty achieving lift when in the tumultuous presence of this monster. It is also immune to fire, as one would expect of a creature whose home address is “the core of the world,” so distance attacks with dragonbreath are of no avail. And even if the dragon is foolhardy enough to fly up to the Besieger and plunge down on its back, the scales and spikes on its back — several feet thick — are more than enough protection. And the Besieger has huge spikes on its jaw facing backward to strike at any foe foolhardy enough to attempt an attack from above.
