We are very pleased to release a range of 28mm Sci Fi Adventurers, with two new sets of models, the Stelloraps and the dreaded Ferox mercenaries. Available now:We have also added some existing sets which are especially suitable for adventures of this type. Note that all of them are available as random single figurines as well, including our popular 28mm Felids and the iconic Los Viejos banditos. The first releases are alien muscle, but we will be releasing human characters and mercenaries as well, this summer.
The Camarasaurs have arrived! They are the most plentiful sauropod fossil from the Morrison formation, and are good for gaming because they were huge, but not so ridiculously huge as to prevent use. In fact their feet can, just barely, be crammed on a 40mm base if you want to use them as a “mere” El or Behemoth element — but there’s considerable overhang. I’d suggest putting a howdah on with crew and artillery — and using them on a 40×80 as war wagons instead! As you can see they dwarf our Indian elephant cow dolly and a human looks like a squirrel next to them! The parts, two heads, necks, bodies and tails, were ALL made to be interchangeable. Sending them off to the caster today. They will also be used as war beasts for the MaceVranians, our reptilian Macedonian range.
Here’s a first look at one of the new codes in Wave 2 of our 28mm Late 12th Century range. The range is here:Wave 2 will be released in May, and will be:Knights in surcoats, lance uprightKnights in surcoats, lance at 45 degreesKnights in surcoats, commandMilitary orders in mantle, lance upright (shown)Military orders in mantle, lance at 45 degreesMilitary orders in mantle, commandAlso all the sets (including the existing codes of surcoatless knights) will now have the option to be mounted on the caparisoned horses shown here.Wave 3 will be armoured infantry with spears, armoured infantry with crossbows, unarmoured infantry archers, Richard the Lionhearted, and Friederich Barbarossa.
